7 Day Western May 10th ~~~

Hello Everyone~~
This will be our second cruise, but first cruise for the "Western,"
~~~~YIIPPPPEEEE!!!!~~~~~
I wanted to know if when doing the Sting Ray City excursion there would be time enough for seeing some of the Island, and do most excursions take up most of the day when booking them through the DCL?
On our first cruise we opted to go to the Island ourselves and found that there was time enough to do the beaches come back aboard shower and change clothes to go back ashore to shop!!

Any help is much appreciated!

Hello Birdie!

Not sure which excursion you are planning on doing (either a DCL excursion or booking your own). We booked the DCL one called snorkeling with stingrays and Discover Cayman. It leaves at 7:50 am which I think allows us enough time when we get back to see some of the shopping area. There is another tour that leaves a 9 something and a different one that leaves at 10:45. If you are on that last one I don't know how much time you'll have in town after.

The first one is general discussion about the cruise, excursions, etc. that Bonnie started months ago and we've been keeping active. The second one is a sign in if you want the buttons that kangaroodle has offered to make for her fellow DIS'ers. The last one is a poll started by me asking for opinions on dates for a DIS meet - looks like Saturday @ 3 is the winner but we'll keep it up for a while longer.
