Cast: Me 32, Hubby 33, Son 10, Daughter 7
We wake up and check out of the Hard Rock...(I am secretly jumping out of my skin..b/c I can't wait to get to the WL).
Hubby calls the bellman...he asks for our valet ticket number, within 10 mins he is there...I am downstaris checking out, and hubby is already in the car waiting for me by the time I am done. I am talking 10 mins tops!!! The service at this hotel is top notch. Now maybe it was because they weren't full, but you would think that they would have had less people working....not true. The staff was great. I can't say enough.
We are now driving down I-4 (west) I think...it always confuses me. We get to the WL about noon. Our room is not ready...but the front desk CM says she is giving us an upgrade to a pool view. She says to call in 1hr to see if the room is ready yet.
We stroll around the WL for about an hr, and I give a call to the desk, I asked them if our room was ready...and she said not yet..I asked her if she could tell me what floor it was on...just so I could get some idea where we would be. I started chatting with her while she was checking and I told her that I have 2 children with me. She said that she had the perfect room for us...pool view on the 3rd floor near the elevators. I said it sounded great and it was ready. IT was PERFECT.!!! It was close enough that my son could go downstairs alone to refill our mugs. And we could see the EWP from our window.
The room was a little smaller than the HRH...but who cares we were in WDW!!! We decided to head down to the pool...we stopped for lunch at roaring forks, it was very good. My son won the duck races down by the pool...so we got a FREE 1 hr water craft rental. We never got to use it though....we were to busy!!!
We went back to our room to get ready for our dinner at Ohana's. We took the boat to the contemporary...and then the monorail to the Poly. Dinner was EXCELLENT!!! My hubby was in Heaven...he told me that this was going to be hard to top...but I knew what I had in store for the rest of the week dinners.
We headed back the way we came and called it a night early around 9pm. It was EE at MK on Thursday...and I wanted to make it!!!!
