7 Day Ticket Question

We are going for 8 nights 7/4-7/12. Does anyone know if the 7 consecutive days for the park tickets start the day you pick up your ticket from the kiosk outside the parks, or do they stamp it something when you actually enter the parks....I was going to pick up our tickets the night before (4th) and actually go to the parks on the 5th, but didn't want to short us day since we will be there 8 days and only have a ticket for 7....
Any help would be appreciated.

No they start the first day you go through the turnstiles.
