7 Day Eastern vs. Western?????

I am booking a 7 day cruise Sept. 06', which is better, Eastern or Western??

Did both but in January each time. I enjoyed them both for different reasons. If I had to say one or the other...I would say Eastern. It was a little more relaxing to me and 1 more sea day than the Western. I am however, booked to go in Sept of 06 as well....and will have 2 days at Castaway Cay and a day at Costa Maya so my vote for that month is Western .

Either one you choose will be wonderful!!!

Well, if you want opinions...

We have only done the Eastern and we absolutely loved it. Had it not been friends wanting to do the Western with a double scoop of CC, we would be doing it again.

Not that I am unhappy with our choice, I would love to do it again because now we know what we are doing!!!!

We prefer the Eastern, for a lot of the reasons stated above. Sea day is heavenly...Love the ports for beaches...I would do what fits in our schedule though, and if we could choose, then Eastern it is..

In a nutshell.

Eastern, extra sea day and Caribbean ports

Western extra port and Florida and Mexican ports.

We did the Eastern because we wanted the extra sea day and Caribbean ports (first time trip for our kids to the Caribbean).

Might try a Western, but given a choice Eastern would be first choice.

I have only been on a western, it was very fun from a teenagers point of view (in case you have kids going) definately long enough and they always have activities for teens after noon (so be mean and wake your kids up early so they can enjoy the island) We didnt do any excursions so we jsut went shopping on all the islands, I didnt get off on grand cayman because of tendering, but looking back i wish i did, so dont skip that!!!
