We are ready to book our second Disney cruise and we can't decide if we should do the 7 day Eastern or Western cruise so we need help deciding. We won't be going until February of 2006 so lots of time to think about it!

Connie...........

We've done both. In 6/02 we did the western and loved it.....inspite of the 6 days of rain. We did the 10/03 eastern and loved it too.....with 7 days of sun. We are going eastern in May 2004 and western 10/04. Right now, I kinda lean more towards the eastern, but only because there are 3 days at sea, and those are our favorites. Once you seen the shopping in one port, you've seen them all. Sorry I wasn't much help, but I think you're safe with either choice.:sunny:

I don't know how true it is but on a previous post about cruises in 2005 a TA said he heard rumors of new itineraries. Maybe Eastern/Western won't even be your choice! I haven't been on either but I would take either!

I think it all depends on what you are looking for out of your cruise. We thought that the stuff to do on land on the Western looked more fun, but we really loved our day at sea on our Wonder cruise, so we decided to go Eastern. We figure that if nothing strikes or fancy on land, we will use the money we would have spend on land in the spa!!
I think that either way, you will have a great time!:D

There are a couple of new itineraries, but they are for one or two sailings only. Whether they are a "try out" or not, no one knows for sure.

That having been said, my favorite is Eastern because of the extra sea day. Also, I've had no luck with Western...twice we were unable to tender at Cayman due to high seas, and I really didn't care for Cozumel at all. Personal opinion....I prefer St. Thomas and St. Martin, and REALLY like the extra sea day.

Loved both trips, but it has to be the Eastern, for the sheer beauty of the islands - especially the trip to St. John: paradise on earth! Dont miss it.:Pinkbounc Nat
