7 Day Cruise Questions

1. We will be cruising over Halloween. I was wondering if they do anything special on the cruise that day or night?

2. Does anyone know if you rent a car from Budget in Cocoa Beach AFTER the cruise will they send a shuttle to the ship to pick us up or do we need to get a Taxi?

3. On the Xcaret excursion...How much are the rentals for snorkle gear? What do you do with your things while you go swimming?

We were on the Halloween Eastern Cruise in 2001. Halloween fell on Tropical night and there was a deck party. LOTS of people got dressed up ( quite a few Disney costumes; others very imaginative). At one point they estimated 1,000 people were at the party. I heard they had trick & treating for the kids also.

The Budget van makes multiple trips by the port on the day of disembarkment. Just ask one of the porter where thier stop is.

On the rental car question.... a porter outside the cruise terminal can direct you to the rental car shuttle area. This will be a large, white tent setup in the parking lot. Go there are then one of 2 things will happen:

1. You will be directed to a line for the appropriate rental car shuttle, or:

2. You will given a taxi to take you where you need to go.

For Budget specifically, I cannot remember if they run a shuttle or not. I always use National and they have a deal with a local taxi fleet (Banana River) to transport folks between the Cruise terminal and their Cocoa Beach office for a flat rate of $11. This flat rate is than deducted from your rental car price.
