7/5 WDW website booking question

I see that you can now book the 7/5 thru WDW website. What's the cancellation policy for this package? If you don't end up needing to cancel, but instead need to change dates, is there a charge for that?

We're driving, so I didn't really want to purchase the travel insurance if I didn't need to, but there's a chance we could have to change the dates.

It will follow the same payment cancellation policies that all packages do.

A deposit of $200 is due within 14 days of when you make your reservation. Your balance is due 45 days prior to arrival. There is no charge for a cancellation 46 days or more prior to arrival. There's a $100 cancellation charge if you cancel between 6 and 45 days prior to arrival. There's a $200 cancellation charge if you cancel within 5 days of arrival. There's a charge of $50 for ANY changes to your reservation within 21 days of your arrival.

Might be a silly question - but if you book online do you still have 14 days to make the deposit or is it due w/ booking?

When I booked for my sister, it looked like I was required to put down the $200, but if you call, I think they can hold it for you.

That's what I thought too - when I went through the steps to book it said something about needing payment to hold reservation in your name. I was just trying to avoid calling to book but I need the 14 day window.

I guess it's sad that the last couple years of service booking & changing my reservation w/ Disney has made me not even want to go through the hassle on the phone anymore. I hate that.

I haven't found where you can book the 7/5 on the disney website. I didn't see a reference to a 7 for 5 package anywhere. Can anyone give me a little assistance?

After you go to Tickets and reservations, look to the right and scroll down a tad and you will see box with pluto(I think) and it should say Magical Free Offer, click on that and it will bring you to it.
