We have a 7:40am ADR at Cape May Cafe and are staying at BLT. What's the best way to get there?

I was thinking of walking over to MK around 6:30/6:45 (since I think buses start pretty early) and taking the Beach Club bus from there.

Or is there a better way?

The quickest and easiest way would be to take a cab.

If you don't want to spend the money, then I think your idea of taking a BC bus from MK is probably the best, most direct route. I'd leave BLT around 6:45.

My personal preference is to take a cab. It would cost you less than $20.00, you would not have to leave so early and they will drop you right at the front door. We budgeted this trip to take a few taxis and it was so wonderful.

I'll make it unanimous (so far!) Taxi is always the best and fastest way to get from resort to resort. But in your case the bus from MK is a good second choice.

We usually take taxi's to other resorts breakfasts. As mentioned already, it is the fastest and easiest way. Allows for a longer sleep in, my family always finds it so hard to get up in the mornings :rotfl:

What if we're staying off Disney? And planning to spend the day in Epcot? What's the best plan of attack (aka best place to park)?

Thanks

We have never taken a taxi ourselves but after our last experience going to Cape May Cafe for a very early ADR while using Disney transportation, I would highly suggest doing that. We spent more time on Disney buses going from one place then transferring onto another bus just to have breakfast. Don't get me wrong, Cape May Cafe is one of our favorite character breakfasts but we will only do an ADR that early in the morning if we are staying in the Epcot area resorts.

To answer the PPs question about staying offsite and parking your car, I would say to just park your car at BC/YC for the 3 hours and then afterwards drive it back over to Epcot's parking lot for the day. Unless of course there is a simpler solution that I am missing. Good luck.

We live in the Burbs and rarely take taxis - we'll have 4 adults, 2 kids and a double stroller. Are van taxis usually available or do we need to budget for 2 taxis? And the kiddos just sit on laps like on the bus/monorail, right?

I'm sure that question sounds so silly, but like I said, we just aren't used to taxis

I believe taxis follow the same rules as cars as far as child restraints:

Perfect, thanks. I figure that's the best bet but there are so many hidden secrets/tricks out there that I figured it was worth asking.
