7/4 ?-payments not booking

I qualified for the 7/4 deal. I think im right when im saying you have to pay the remainder of the balance on your dv also? MY question is what if your limit is under what your vacation package toal is. example my price is about 2300 but only approved for $500.

If i have to pay the WHOLE balance on dv then i guess i could just charge $500 a cycle and then pay that off, but i was wandering if i could just charge what the limit of my card is then send the rest of the payment to disney via check???? does anyone know??

Well, it says specifically on the paperwork that I received from Disney that the entire package must be paid for with the Disney Visa. If your trip is far enough in the future, I would try posting payments to your Disney Visa and then paying off the credit card, posting another payment and paying off the credit card. That way, the whole package was paid for with your Disney Visa. I think that would work, unless Bank One has some sort of rule against that. I don't see why they would, though. Good luck.

I don't have any paperwork and no one mentioned it to me when I booked my vacation. However that being said I am still going to use my Disney visa card because I don't want to mess up my reservation.....

I would do as the other poster suggested.

You might try calling Bank One to get your credit limit raised. I know I had to do this. Be careful not to go over your limit. There is a substantial fee if you do.

How long did it take you to get your paperwork? I made our reservations over a week ago and still haven't heard anything.

it took me around 12 days to get everything. Ill pay the first $500 here in a couple of days and then ask them to raise the limit to atl east a $1000. If they dont let me ill just see if i can write a big check and see if they will put a credit on my card so i can get this paid off. i hate having to do this $500 payment here and there. well, at least the 7/4 is worth it, i cant complain.

also i misunderstood your question. im still waiting for my disney confirmation. my first confirmation was before the 7/4 deal. i called them today and asked them to mail me one.

It is my understanding that this package deal should be at 0% interest for 6 months. I will have to see how true that is when we get our first bill. If it is, I will put the entire balance on my card and just budget the payments to be paid off in 6 months. I will also be able to use the reward points earned on our trip.
