Sunday, July 4th- KEY WEST

We began our 4th of July by eating breakfast at Topsiders (excellent breakfast as usual) and then going over to deck 9 midship for some 4th of July activities - they had the National Anthem performed, and then live music with the Charles Marshall band. They handed out complimentary American Flags, and they had special Red, White and Blue frozed drinks. It was really really cool. We had lunch at Topsiders again and watched as we pulled into Key West. We walked around Key West and went to the shipwreck museum which was really interesting. We did want to rent a jet ski, but by the time we came back after shopping and the museum they were all rented - I guess we'll have to do that first next time. We got back on board at about 3:30 and went to the quiet cove pool before getting ready for Who Wants to Be a Mousketeer ( nobody won anything more than $150 I think) At 7:30 they had a 4th of July sing a long and a red white and blue balloon drop in the Atrium. We then went up to deck 10 to see the spectacular Key West sunset :) Dinner was at Animators Palate (excellent) after dinner DH and I went over to the Buena Vista theater to see Miracle which was a really great movie.

MONDAY, JULY 5TH - DAY AT SEA

We wanted to sleep in but this was our Charecter Breakfast day at Parrot Cay. We had a great time. It was our first Charecter breakfast, ever! My mom, aunt and I all wore these "Grumpy" tank tops. Our wait staff got a great kick out of those :) After breakfast we went over to the Quiet Cove pool and relaxed in the sun. DH spent the day playing basketball up on deck 10. We had lunch at Lumiere's today. After which we went to deck 4 and relaxed on those comfy reclining chairs :) At 6:30 we went to my favorite Disney show, Hercules the Muse-ical. I love this show. It's my 4th time seeing it and I can't wait to see it again! I love the corny jokes! At 7:45 we went to the Atrium for the Captain's Welcome Reception and got our photo taken with Captain Thord. Dinner was at Parrot Cay. I really love the food here. I think the more I cruise, the more I love Parrot Cay. After dinner we raced to Rockin' Bar D to see Adult Cabaret showtime with Taylor Mason. He is SO funny! He did a completely different show than he did on night 1. After the show we (DH and I) went up to the coffee bar on deck 9 and relaxed before calling it a night.
