I know with my rowdy group, if we don't get more people ( to calm us down?) we'll be "borrowing" the lugggage carts and having races down the hallways! Ooh, I just had a thought: with only 6 kids on board, they'll have to open the Mickey slide to us "almost"grown-ups no wonder no one wants to join us -we're nuts

My other 3 day cruise has 2 other ladies. But for months it was just Marsha and me. She has a power wheel chair and she got a new more powerful one a few months ago, so we decided that we will race around the ship with me on the back of it and her stuffed Mickey on the front of her chair.
Look out everyone, 2 wild , crazy , old ladies on the loose!!!


I sent you a PM about the halloween Mickey, i love it but i have trouble getting it posted.

Hi Kathy,
How was your cruise? Have you found anyone to sail with you next summer yet? Our group hasn't expanded but we will have fun with just the 20 (or so) we've pulled together.

Here's to hoping DCL reverses that whole "get off the ship between cruises" thing. I was so looking forward to using the luggage carts for races up and down the hallways (just kidding)

Howdy,
nope it is just me here still, although we are thinking of not going for this cruise now and concentrating on the 11/29/08 crusie we have booked because we have decided to move back to Oregon before the cruise and that will cost more for airfare and a hotel, plus no Florida discount.

we just got back today and we had an awesome cruise!!!

we had perfect weather and good seas too.

I will be posting a report and photos soon on the trip part of the dis boards.

I will be traveling with my 3 and 5 year old children in a cat 11. We went on the 7 day eastern in 2006 with their daddy and got an awesome cat 4 room. It was the best family vacation we had ever had. My beloed husband passed away 12/26/07. So I booked this cruise to have something to look forward to...I wonder if I can request anything special for my son and daughter since they just had a parent die.

I am the original OP and recently had to can cel this cruise due to moving from Florida to Oregon last week. I hope you get lots of great people to get aquainted with.

Please do keep bumpingit. I have done many 3 day cruises and lots of times people dont post until about 30 days before the cruise. So dont give up hope .

I have found that 3 and 4 day cruises often dont have many people, just a few where 7 day can get 40 or 50 families.

I sure wish I was still coming along.

There is a slight chance we will move back to Florida by June, if so we may still have a chance to go on this cruise. I am known for having a for a big mouth when it comes to DCL cruises, so wish me luck, We would love to still join you on this cruise.
