It's such a nice sound to hear so early in the morning.
My neighbor's visiting father decided a couple of trees need to be removed, using a chainsaw and 7:25 AM would be a good time to do it. (Boy is the wife upset!)
We live in a rather congested neighborhood and there is nothing more irritating! I usually wait till about 10:00 AM before I do any yard work that could wake anyone up.
What's a good time for you?

Then, the horses arrived. Ah, the horses.....2ft from my property line. But, at least they are quiet. Then, the horses needed room. That's where the backhoe came into play. He loooooves his backhoe. He's out there on it doing who-knows-what a few times a week for an hour here and an hour there. Part of me feels bad for the guy. I think he's strapped financially (shouldn't have bought horses) and he's been trying to rent out the backhoe (it doesn't go in reverse) and he has a sign out offering his excavation services (we have a really reputable well-known excavator in town that everyone uses). He's a moron. Plain and simple. Anyone who would think it's a good idea to put horses 2ft from someone's property line is a loser. Anyone who would go out at 7am on a Sunday with a backhoe tearing up trees on that property line and dumping the trash on the other person's property is a loser. My DH promptly went out there and hurled the mangled trees back over onto his side.
