Beth - I would definitely contact not only DCL, but DisneyDirect. That shouldn't happen. And you didn't even take a plane! I have the Pooh carryon, and the tote that matches (a gift from my SIL) - I used that a few times on the plane, and so far so good. 2 years ago my other SIL gave me the Christmas MK train station - when I opened it, it was totally smashed - well Disney Catalog -said no problem - and they credited her - she didn't even have to send it back! I've been doing alot more complaining about things - with the e-mail it's so easy - and instead of just accepting poor quality - the company's seem to be happy to make amends. So go for it! And if you tell Disney Direct - it happened on the DCL - You never know!
