Which station do you get the Eurostar from? We flew over both times from London since it was easier for us to book our plane tickets that way.

I go from the London end terminal St Pancras, but I could also use Ebsfleet in Kent, or drive down to Ashford, Stratford East London isn't open as yet, but the station itself is complete.

BLA BLA BLA

Hey how come Im not listed on the first page?

Who's in charge here?

Who can I blame!

Robert you need to PM Hanover with your details and she'll put them in although I've not seen her on here in the last couple of days

Greetings:yay:

We've officially transfered our dummy booking to this cruise and are so exited to see so many from the EB PC Repo:woohoo:

Do I pm the OP with my info for page 1 ?

It's me (Laurie), DH (Darren), DS (Andrew-will be 16 in 2010), DD (Kelly -will be 13 in 2010).

We're living in Northern Viginia, but DH and I are originally from NY (me- Long Island and Darren -Yorktown Heights).

We are hoping to arrive in London a couple days before the cruise so that we can sightsee a little. Has anybody made plans for a pre-cruise London stay yet ?

    Hi Laurie! You have made the right decision!

Yay Laurie!!!!

We're really excited to be cruising with you, Darren, and the kids again. I was just looking at smugmug pictures of the Jolly Pirates and was missing everybody again.

I'm never going to ketchup.:scared1:

I'll stick with reading the last page for now.:lmao:

Hi LaTanya!!!:cool1:

Don't worry about catching up . . . it's just nice to "see" you here . . . we will have to get together in person some time soon.

But if you can find a place for a family of 6 in the heart of London (close to Harods Convenient to Portabello Road) gotta make the wife & daughters happy!:lmao:

I am thinking about coming over 5 to 7 days before the Cruise, thinking about taking the bullet train to DLP for a day or 2?

:

Robert Harrods and Portabello Road are in different parts of London and "bullet train" ? wrong country....that's Japan not UK :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I would say DLP for 2 days is more than enough...I'm not a fan of DLP at all :sad2: :sad2: We did a 3 day weekend August 2005 and also stayed Castle Club and other than the hotel I was not impressed. I found the parks dirty and we'd been in WDW in April of that year and Ethan, who was 7 at the time, had fantastic interaction with the characters. The character meet & greet at DLP is all elbows and pushing    The friendliness of CM's I found to be so so and the food is very cheap and chearfull. DLP is very do-able for a day trip for us but as a result of this visit it is very definately not on our list of family visits.

Whenever I hear Portobello Road, I think of Bedknobs and Broomsticks. I think i need to watch that one again!

Izzi, i don't think I mentioned it before, but I love love love the nightime castle picture in your signature. I've never seen a family posed like that. It's great!

 I love that our English Brethren are helping with the hotel hunt--thanks for all the advice in advance!

We are also planning to come to London a few days early--:woohoo:

I don't know how the eyes move on my signature--a tech guru genius from our last cruise set that up :cool2: I can ask him if you want :wizard:

:welcome: Mrs. Scooby!
I think it's great too! We also are planning a few days in London before the cruise. We've never been there. Andrew wants to go to some records place and do some geneology stuff.
I promise when you all come to Seattle to take a DCL Alaska cruise, we'll help you out too!

Our latest post counts! The Queen is way out front!

I's a shame Potabello Road is really not like the film....my mum and dad used to have an antique stall in the market there many years ago as a child I remember going down ther very early in the morning to set out it was like a huge adventure.

The photo was Sallie's idea (Salliep) At first she wanted us to lie down on the ground and spell out M I C K E Y with our bodies :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl: Then she came up with that idea. It was the night of the Pirate and Princess party and we'd had a great evening. In the rose garden the photopass people had set up a throne with background and lights for people and mainly little ones to have their picture taken....well we ALL piled onto that throne together with Paul and Jimmy at the bottom.....it was hysterical and we were all crying with laughter but we got some fantastic photos from it.

BTW got your PM, no probs :thumbsup2

Honestly folks I really, really do have a full time job and I play taxi service to my kids....I have no idea how this has happened :confused3 :confused3

In case anyone is curious, we have 630 days until July 18, 2010

This is our longest holiday countdown EVER...our previous record was 624 days when we booked a DCL Christmas cruise special itinery whilst onboard the previous April.

Wow, only 630 days to lose ##### pounds before the cruise:rotfl:

OH PS

Went and early voted this morning. Line at 7:30am was an hour long :scared: I was glad to see there were a lot of families voting together. A great memory for all of them (the kids will tell their great grandkids---I remember in aught8 when I went with your great grandparents and voted :rotfl: ) We were telling DS20 that he is now one for one voting in presidential elections :p

I wonder when those of us with mystery staterooms will be assigned--surely before day 600??:lmao:
