Now no one would ever downplay your contributions toward a large post count, JoAnn! . . . although Maria's 15,000 is almost double yours, and how many hundreds of thousands is Andrew up to now?:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: (Wonder how he's sleeping tonight?)

I love bringing up Andrew while he's sleeping..........:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Congrats on the pirate: Julie!

It's just like old times. Where is Andrew today???

Ok, I have to defend myself........I joined DISboards back in 2002, while tripping off the ship after my first 7day (with tears streaming down my eyes.) That night, we were booked for Discovery Cove before returning home. I was SO depressed so I went on the computer late at night and discovered this webboard. The rest is history. I soon booked my 2003 cruise and have gone DCL every year but one ever since. (My family wanted to try another line, so we did and we decided TO ALWAYS DO DCL FROM THEN ON!)

Even though I was set to see DC and it was a great day, my despondency overtook our visit there............this is why I usually book onboard (and of course for the financial incentives....... )

And despite my quest for pirates, reaquainiting with old and new DISfriends, my primary purpose for this subscription is to learn about our upcoming trip and of course, save money!!!!!!!!!!:cloud9:

TY, I'll now get off my soapbox..........

Come on, don't get defensive -- we are all just jealous of your post count!

For this cruise in general it sounds as though we have to plan for at least the possibility of cool weather and rain every day -- you can get lucky and get a warm day, but it just luck! Every trip report I read mentions carrying a travel umbrella and jacket on port days . . .

Being that I have lived int he Greater Seattle Area for 14 years, I too am accustomed to the rain. I did enjoy the Tstorm in Panama. I do not usually get to see such intense light displays here.

Being that I live in California, I am used to rain being well disciplined and only falling in moderate amounts between October and April. I believe it is in our state constitution. On the PC crossing I was rather astonished with the concept of rain falling in August. Then again, it was nothing after becoming acquainted with the concept of humidity - another weather artifact that most Californians believe only exists in fiction.

Well, I would have loved to go with a veranda, but once I decided to do three cruises in a row, it started looking smarter to go with SPH rooms (which luckily Jo was able to do for me!). Another thing to keep in mind is how port intensive this cruise is -- like the Med, I didn't really miss a veranda there.

Then we will be neighbors - we're in 5524.

Are you trying to discretly tell us that you go commando? :lmao:

I wish I could claim to be so clever or discrete.

In truth, it's ignorance. I'm not entirely sure what knickers are, but whatever they are, guys around here certainly don't wear them (at least not by that name) :rolleyes1

Well I was here at 6am this morning but there were sooooooooooo many pages to ketchup on I didn't get time to post before I left for work. Once at work I've been soooooooooo busy I haven't had a chance to jump on....but I'm here now :cool1: :cool1:

Well Well, Well what a busy little lot you all were last night. Congratulations Jullie on the pirate...just a quick question on that score are we gong just for pirates at the 500's and 1000's or at the 100's as well ????

Sallie when in Europe I thought you would have learnt it's "flushing" NOT "flashing". Flashing is when you show off your underwear....or lack of it    to the general public. Not something that even a crazy flushing american lady would do :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

We'd better stick with only the 1000s . . . it looks as though we can cover some pages with this group, and if we do less than that this thread will be ALL fluff!

That we had better at least pretend to do a little trip planning on this thread . . . that I am currently the worst fluffing offender . . . take your pick!:rotfl2:

Well if the cap fits :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 having said that, it has been know, in the past, for me to partake in a little fluffing myself :rotfl: :rotfl:

my, my very quiet in here today obviously eveyones suffering from fluffing hangovers

just as a "heads up" To Russia with Mouse is waaaaaaaaay out in the lead as our cruise name
