Hey guys is there room for 2 more? I think I'm gonna book this cruise! Have been thinking about it and really want to do it. What the hey, we have over 20 months to figure how to pay for it !

I've been checking and see that the prices haven't gone up yet so must be slow to sell out.

Welcome to you and our other new cruisers.........jump in "like double dutch," and help us get to know you guys..........:cool1: :thumbsup2 :surfweb:

HI Mike!!!
I got your PM - no problem !! I was out most of the day shopping for our tailgate party for tomorrow's Giants game. We have a friend who owns season tickets and we get to go every now and then- I really love going to Giant Stadium- we have so much fun. WE are really taking advantage of the games this year because our friend is going to be giving up his pass which has been in his family since his grandfather bought them years ago. He has 6 seats which will cost him $120,000.00 for the new contract!! ($20,000 per seat. But, above that, each ticket will still cost $700.00 per game in the new stadium!!! These seats are on the 40 yard line 5 rows up!!! But since you are not from NY I guess you are yawning by now!!!!

So this does not happen again ( no room for me at Palo)- NOONE IS ALLOWED TO MAKE ANY PLANS UNLESS IM ON LINE!!! LOOK FOR MY LIGHT!!! :mad:

Wow, I had no idea that the seats cost that much........that's insane!

Wow- you are my new guru!!! Thanks Barb- Il let you know what they said when i get back Tues night!! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2
Part of the reason I know this is that we own at Bonnet Creek for our timeshare; the other reason is that I have a friend that is a CM down there and her DH loves to keep up on all the happening with construction around property.

Plus Disney wants this very high end property on their real estate because there will be a Waldorf Astoria with golf course next the Bonnet Creek in the next couple of years.
The funny thing about the Bonnet Creek property is that the main drive going back to the property is owned by Disney and Wyndham (previously Fairfield) had to get permission from Disney to have the right of way to be able to access the property. So you get to drive on Disney property to go off property to stay. We love it there and really like to get a room with an Illuminations view. We will be there next April and June.

So now that I've put everyone to sleep with my useless knowledge for the day...we can now resume 'normal' cruise chat. :happytv:

I didn't know most of what you knew about this, but, my WDW driver (who we got from a DISfriend referral) told us something about the driveway, etc., high end stuff last summer. I really didn't get what it was about, but it sounds cool........update us when you hear, Sal.....:woohoo:

Cool, Tina! I hope you do book this one! It seems to many of us that the higher cat cabins have gone up in price, but not the lower ones. Definitely not a sell out like our PC cruise, though.

Hello All
DH of Celestine here, I don't get to post often but was given a website at college this week (nearly completed a C & G in photography) and thought a few of you may be interested. The website is www.photographybb.com if you visit this website you can download the magazine in pdf format for free. The last issue has a huge article on St. Petersburg and links to a tour guide website.

I know on the Eastern Panama in the summer there was a few keen photographers hopefully there will be a few on this cruise.

Andrew it is not 2011 yet there is still time for Alaska...........we will see.

I'm still trying to download pictures to the smug mug site. But I'm game if someone else figures out how to post????

Oh Barb....it was manic. Loads and loads of people and my feet are killing me. We went to John Lewis, Debanhams, Selfridges and M & S in Oxford St. Then went to Knightbridge to Harvey Nics, then went to Sloane Squaren to Peter Jones after that it was back to Oxford St for my mum to buy the very 1st dress she tried on and my sister to go back to Debanhams to get one their. My poor feet :sad2: :sad2:

Great! Now she's name dropping! Show Off! :lmao:

The Four Seasons is being built on the grounds of the golf course WDW just closed. It's supposed to be very high end and will compete with Wyndham's Bonnet Creek Resort that is next to Carribbean Beach Resort.

Yup, full of useless knowledge that only comes out when needed. ;)

 Could it be - could Barb be this thread's "M" ????????:thumbsup2

(For those that don't know the infamous "M". She was this really cool lady that sailed on the EB PC. She was famous for saying the exact thing - Keeper of Useless Knowledge. But we loved her anyway. She had a mean sense of humor! (mean as in good! :thumbsup2 )

So Barb, JillJIll, if I slip and call you M - you know why! :rotfl:

:welcome: Tina - another EB'er to rock this boat! That is my predicament - I just booked and am waiting to see where the chips lie. Although now, I got my friends from home booked - if they don't cancel that is!

WOW...you must be exhausted. At least it was a productive day and you got done what you set out to do.
The sad thing is....I know where everyone of those stores are located. :confused3 I guess that means I've spent way too much time shopping in London instead of sightseeing. But when you've been there 6 or 7 times, you can only go in the Tower of London so many times.

Huh? You mean there are places to shop in London other than Harrods? :rolleyes1

:wave2: DH of Celestine,

Just wanted to ask a couple of ?????'s First, can I assume a C & G means a major or a degree in Photography?

Second, thanks for the link - couldn't get the magazine to stick but was able to print the article on St. Petersburg. Thank you so much for the link.

Oh and by the way - its got some marvelous info on flash - I was just thinking yesterday I needed to haul out all my photography notes from when I was going a couple of years ago. Its always a good idea to refresh! Thanks again.

How soon before you complete your studies? Show us some samples. We love samples!

Good luck girls- send some pics of the gowns!!!

Hi Kids!!! Carley is still sleeping but I will have her post when she gets up- she will be so excited to hear from you!! You both got so big and handsome and beautiful!!!

Yes we are planning Carleys Sweet-16 on your verandah!! I am going to ask Jimmy, Paul (Izzis husband), Tom ( Maryanns husband), and Crusin Mike( who is family now )to build and attach a few planks between verandahs attached to yours... the Roy cabin perhaps) so we will have extra dance space. I have already starting gathering thousands of tiny twinkling lights to hang across the verandahs!! It is going to be an amazing party!! party:

Sallie,
Can we move the date the the following Sunday, July 26th??? That was the date we are all planning to meet Helen & Dave in the city?

I just received a call from someone in the Disney Corp.about attending a question and answer/introduction to a new "luxury resort" event for Disneyworld. Something about a Four Seasons/ Disney Luxury resort. I think it must be part time share also, that will be held right in my neighborhood the Garden City Hotel. There were two times available and I took the 6-7:30 slot on Tuesday.. I will get 2 park passes for attending!! I asked her if it was going to be a high pressure sales pitch, but she said they just want the opinions of guests who travel to Disney regularly. The GC Hotel is wonderful- its 2 min from my home, so I will let you all know what it was about! Since we dont have a penny to our name, I wont have to worry about a high pressure sales pitch even if there is one!!!!
maryann- I bet you will get the call too since you live so close- anyone else get the call from the NY/ Long Island area???

We didn't get the call. Probably because we stay in DVC resorts, not their regular hotels. Sounds great, though, especially with 2 free passes!!!
Andrew,

What a fabulous pic of your family!

Mike,

Probably missed out on the Palo brunch as we were out all day yesterday. If anyone wants to start another brunch, we're in.

Izzi, glad at least your mom and sis found dresses after all that. Whew! Although I could think of worse things. Hmmm... shopping around London...
