I like the way that on the Panama cruise many parents gave their kids a cruise contract and made their kids behave more, its only the 2009 Caribbean one where we had this occur.

However i have seen parents do strange things before as well.

Once on disembarkation morning, we were walking down behind another family before going to immigration at 6am.

They were just in front of us at the elevators, they choose to go down the stairs, but we got an elevator straight away as there wasn't many people around at that time.

Our elevator stopped at every deck from 8/7/6/5/4, now with no one around who was that, well at one we saw the Dad, just run away as our elevator was catching him up, and he had pressed it at every floor, we then were behind them in immigration, he wouldn't look at us.

THE DAD:scared1:
How odd, maybe he was living out his childhood fantasy or something:rolleyes1

BTW..Congrats on the pirate:thumbsup2

Some adults can be worse then kids! that was just plain rude.

Yes very annoying, them in front, he must have pressed the elevator button at each deck, and then ran to catch up his family.

None of the buttons in the elevator were pressed. And at 6am only non USA people were around.

I gotta get busy around here. Have a good day everyone, it is another beautiful day here in the upper 70's. I have to go do something to enjoy it after straightening up!

Congrats on the pirate: Andrew!

Some adults are worse than the kids~:confused3

I was thinking the other day, are we going to do tee shirts for our cruise? I think it was mentioned a long time ago, but not sure if it was decided.

What do you all think?

Just my opinon, there are not too many people on this thread, and fewer may take up, My Mrs will not do it, kids would, but wouldnt do it without her.

I am so not a morning person, unless I am on a trip. Then I want to pack as much waking time into every day.
I hope people leave our magnets alone!!

I have a Gnome ready for the Ballyhoo. He is still learning the names of the ports.

After the Gnome makes it back, I am planning on printing out copies of him with the signatures and sending them to as many Ballyhooers I have addresses for.

I have a pink flamingo ("Pinky") who joined me on the 2007 EB TA. He's also been squished into pockets in Paris, Munich, Venice, and all the trains in between.

My sister is wondering how many people are doing private tours in St Petersberg? I believe it is with the Anastasia tour company.
Is there a group that needs 2-3 more people?

We are going with Anastasia for the two days, but car/van size is for our party of 4 plus the driver and private guide. Prices are reasonable worth contacting them.

Which book?

I got a few as Christmas presents and then I got Rick Steve's new one when it came out.

I have a organizer/folder thing that I used for our PC repo cruise to organize the mountain of paper I inevitably accumulate with all the planning. Really helps as I am so ADD- I always seem to forget something:guilty:

Gotta try and get an East coast DIS meet set up this spring/summer:goodvibes It would be fun to meet up ahead of time:woohoo:

Any others from the Maryland/DC/Virgina area lurking out there:confused3

I have the Lonely Planet Scandinavian Europe that I used for the last Baltics, and the new one is Fodor's European Ports of Call.
I looked at the Rick Steves book and wasn't thrilled with it.

I'll add to Laurie's shout out for any others in the DelMarVa/Philly region?!? :confused3

We take a friends Scooby with us, and he's coming with us this time. We forgot to take him on the last Baltics cruise. At least this time he gets to go with Mickey & friends. It won't be his first DCL cruise, we took him on the MR in 2005. We've also taken him to Australia and Ireland. Plus others have taken him to a couple different Olympic games and many of the states. Scooby has quite a photo album.

There was a new poster a few pages back that was looking for anyone to join their family or if a family was looking for someone to add on to. I don't remember which one, but go back about 10-12 pages or so.
We only have 8 in our group, but we are going to some obscure places since we are repeat visitors.
