Snow :headache: started here about 6:30, but for now it's coming down slowly. They say it will start coming down heavier later this afternoon.

Robert, I'll be glad so send it up to you where it really belongs.

Sorry were supposed to get rain here! :thumbsup2 No Complaints!:thumbsup2

Robert of course you aren't complaining, you aren't the one that has to shovel this stuff. I don't either, but I have to look at it. :upsidedow

Me I am counting down to my April Vacation!:):thumbsup2

Finally heard back from the segway company in Tallin:

http://www.supersegway.ee/

What I had asked her was if we had to wait until June to formally book not if we could book for June:headache:
Not sure if the problem is language related or attention related. It took several weeks to get a reply back from them:sad2:
I'm not really comfortable giving them my money too far in advance so I may wait until June:rolleyes:

My DS is 16 and my DD is 13, but my DD will be more than able to handle the segway so I am willing to sign her up regardless of the age.

I am interested, but wonder if we can do better on the pricing for a large group? It will be about $90 a person if the exchange rate holds.

I think this was about the price we paid for the Nassau segway:confused3
Not like they have alot of competition as they are the only segway tour company in Tallinn so not sure how much bargaining power we have.

If you or anyone else wants to try contacting the company to see if a better group price is available I'm fine with that:confused3 Count us in for 4.
Otherwise I'm thinking of waiting a couple months before contacting them again. Maybe they'll be more organized by then.

Anyone know what the segway tour is priced in Stockholm?

Ok Robert I checked the DC segway tours and you're right they are substantially cheaper at about $70 per person. However they do require a $500 deposit per segway which is refunded after the tour (not crazy about having $2000 put on our credit card:headache:).

There is also a segway tour of Berlin if anyone is interested. http://citysegwaytours.com/washington-dc

I'm thinking I might try the kids at the DC segway tour first:confused3
They also require a minimum age of 16 but unless they require proof of age I think my DD will be fine.

Snowing here again, but luckily just a dusting.

We booked 2 rooms at Park Plaza Westminister Bridge through Expedia this week. We ended up saving nearly $100 a night from Disney prices. We paid in full yesterday and are all set to book excursions on 3/20. It was nice to see excursion times in St. Petersburg on the website the person on the 2nd Baltic set up. We will be able to do all 4 excursions on our wish list there.

We purhcased (through DCL) Lion King tickets for 7/17 and the Canterbury/Leeds castle excursion on debarkation day. We are really, really excited about this trip! The transfers are included in the castle tour. We have DCL round trip transfers but they will not allow us to take the transfer from Heathrow to the hotel since we didn't book through Disney. That will save us $44 per person and I'm sure we can find transportation for less than $220. I hope! Any suggestions? We are a group of 5 with 2 kids included.

I received 2 mailings today one Booklet for the Baltic with a postcard type insert advising me when I can start booking excursion's & extras.:goodvibes

I also received just the postard insert for the Repo to Barcelona!:rolleyes1

I think she means can you ask the crew if they know if they will be on the Magic come July 18th:confused3
They might not know yet but it never hurts to ask. That's how plenty of Disers find out things before they are announced:goodvibes

Hope you have a great time:thumbsup2
I'm so jealous!!

THanks for clarifying this on my behalf!

Celestine

I'll have to ask my TA if she has these mailings for us since we haven't rec'd anything in the mail about this cruise.

I think I've just figured out we can start booking on Easter Sunday, we are gold, but I'm not sure.

So far we have dodged the snow bullet today. We had the heavy flurries until around 10am and then nothing again until mid-afternoon and that was real light flurries. Now they've lower our prediction to 1-3 inches. I'll take that over the 6-12 inches that was called for. :thumbsup2

Hey Robert you are going to be on tv here in a bit. They are rebroadcasting the Winter Classic on the Comcast Sports Network.
