'Morning all

The west coast did not need to share their rain with the east coast, we didn't share our snow with you last month. :headache:

Madison and I would have enjoyed some snow!
Rumor has it some more rain is on it's way. I never believe it til I see it though.:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl::rolleyes1

The first day I might take all of my children 17/15/9/6 but on the second day I will just take the older 2.

When we did the Med in 2007 we usually left the younger 2 in the clubs! They had a good time & never complained except when we took them out for dinner or bed!:lmao:

I truly believe that the 1/2 day tours are the most the younger 2 can handle (even for the older 2 it can be a stretch!):confused3:laughing:

You don't make me feel like bad parent now! With the mixing of ages at least I know the youngest can annoy the eldest if she's feeling a bit "parent sick"!

So, I've had a reply back from the Viking walk people. They are finalising their summer timetable & will let me know the times, but 1130 is looking most likely. I also asked about the lunch (Carolyn I think was also interested) as I'm not a red meat eater - they can liaise direct with the restaurant & find a suitable alternative. They were very helpful & confirmed they are doing the DCL trip, the main difference between the 2 being the chat is more child friendly for DCL & more general otherwise. The DCL trip will also include a stop at some sort of Viking ship the children can crawl over - nice, but not worth the extra $$$ in my opinion.

This sounds great:thumbsup2
I checked out the website that you posted a few pages ago and showed their video to my DH and he loved it:goodvibes Apparently walking around in a viking hat appeals to him:laughing:

We are spending so much on St Pete and Berlin that we want to take it easy on the other ports as far as cost-and this one seems pretty reasonable.

:goodvibesGood Morning All:goodvibes
Where have all the Ballyhoo'rs gone far to sea in search of Mickey!

I have been checking my spam folders, but no response yet from the Segway company in Tallinn.

I just sent off another email to ask about reserving a tour.

If anyone has had better luck getting a response from them-please post.

Finally heard back from the Segway company in Tallinn:banana:

Ok, so it seems like the guide is extra:confused3
Not liked I'd want to try getting around without a guide anyway.

Anyone interested in getting a group together????
I've got 4 in my family so just need 6-8 more for the cheaper price.
My DS is 16 and my DD will be 13 by then.
Of course if there is enough interest there could be several groups :cool1:

4 of my tribe might be interested how much extra for the guide?:dance3:

I emailed her back to check on that.
I wasn't clear on the price with guide.

The segway tour in Nassau was about $85 per person with guide for what seemed like an hour -time went fast though so it could have been more:goodvibes

But that was a tour through "jungle terrain"-not through a city.

Not sure what segway tours should cost:confused3

Ok....Is there a family of 3 or 4 that would like to join our StP tour? We won't be going to the Hermitage.
So far I have on my list for the first day Peter & Paul Fortress, Church of the Saviour on the Spilt Blood, Lady of Cazan Cathedral and a 1 hour boat tour, plus I need to add in another venue. The first day has us getting back on the ship about 8pm. For the 2nd day so far it's Monplaisir Palace and the grounds at Peterhoff with lunch on our own at the cafe, Constantine's Palace and then walking and shopping time in the city before returning to the ship around 7pm.
The 1st day has a meeting time of 1pm at Passport Control and the 2nd day has a meeting time of 8:30am at Passport Control.
