7/18/2010 Mickey's Baltic Ballyhoo!! Part 4

I want to be on the list! Our family is taking the 7-18 cruise next year. We did the Mediterranean 2 yrs ago, and we're looking forward to this one. We're headed out in 4 weeks on a Royal Caribbean cruise to New England/Canada. We're Disney folks, but wanted to head a different direction this year.

I'm headed out this morning with two of my girls (one is in the Hamptons with a friend) and the dogs to spend a few days with our good friends who have a country place in Connecticut -- and their pool is open! I'll check back in when we return.

Leave it to you to ask the good questions of the new family. I hadn't thought to do that. I just went back and read one of Beth's posts and she says the kids are 11 & 13. So we seem to have a large group of kids that will be in the same range.

DD & I did an excursion to Ikea this morning. Never thought I would have to stand in line to get in the store to buy a chair, but that's what we did and it was worth it. At least the register line moved very quickly so we were in and out really fast.
Heading out in a bit to go to dinner with friends and to hopefully get the keys to the FL house if they have them with them, otherwise we'll have to get them tomorrow when they take us up to the airport. They have a house up here and down there too, but they are down there more than being up here.

FE is short for fish exchange. We had that on my last cruise (PC repo in August 2008) and it was a blast.

Advantages and disadvantages to starting it early. The number changes dramatically the closer you get to cruise date.

I think Caro had as much fun on the Repo as the girls did when it came to checking for new things in the FE. It really is a fun thing to do and the gifts yo get run the gamut from inexpensive knickknacks to personalized.

So are you going to join in this time Robert?
