I know they have openings for dinner still, but since it's just the 3 of us on this cruise and it's only 4 days we are skipping Palo once again which does not bother me at all. The menu looks good, but nothing screams out to me that I have to try it - except for the chocolate souffle, but if I want that bad enough I'll just make it myself.

On a Disney cruise anything is possible........

Nice pics. We tried that on a couple other DCL cruises and were denied. But I've heard of people recently getting them in the dining rooms. We'll have to see how our servers and head server are and try this again. It doesn't hurt to ask.

I have had my kids get Palo soufflé twice in 2007 and 2008 cruises, with their normal dinner, served Palo style with the pouring as well.

The last time I tried was March 2007 and it was after that I heard they changed it again that you could get it in the regular dining room sometimes. So will definately try next month.
Thanks for reminding me. :thumbsup2

It is difficult you have to pull some strings and I have been told off for posting these pics on the main forum because everyone wants it!

Well I missed quite a debate! We did arrange for the soufflé on the Med cruise. I just spent all morning changing my club level ressie from GF to AK and I am saving $400 and I added the dp and tix. How great is that?

Sounds wonderful Robert. We'll be a BLT in Feb. with a MK view. I'm sure the resort will be beautiful!
We will both find out, You first & you can let me know! I bought into BLT just to be on the Monorail & be close to the Magic Kingdom! I think I have enough DVC points for the forseeable future!:scared1:

What dates? We'll be down in April as well.
4/15 to 4/25

I think we got them in 2006 & 2007! But not recently:sad2::sad1:

I was able to have it at dinner on our New Year's eve cruise just 5 months ago, so it is possible -- just not guaranteed!:goodvibes

Had a great time - it was nice to met ya

MJ and I were one of the first ones to enter the port (boarding # 2) and got checked in very quickly and then went over and asked about upgrading - we ended up from a cat 12 to a cat 4 for a unbelieveable terrific price - we were dancing around singing "Happy Mother's Day" to us

once I smashed my toe, I was pretty much out of it and didnt' get around as much as I wanted to

If you don't mind me asking, what cat. were you assigned and how much was your upgrade? I'm hoping to get to port early for our cruise next month to see if there are any upgrades available.

Ouch, hobbling around on a bum foot on vacation that involves a lot of walking is not fun. Hope it's feeling better now. :flower3:

We had cat 12 2021 and got cat 4 8074 for just an additional 344.00 per person

There were cat 3 available and they were 1200.00 for 2 adults - we passed but grabbed up the cat 4 almost before she finished quoting the price

Toe is all swollen, black and blue and I will need to go to doctor - hopefully he can get in Monday - he doesn't work on Friday's or I would have begged for an appointment yesterday - of course it is the big toe which makes it really hard to walk around - at least I had sandles that I could slip on carefully - or until I had to shove it into my sneaker to come home - no way was I going to hobble around the airports with an exposed toe

I'm thinking of trying for an upgrade this summer and was wondering how it works - in particular: how good at they are redirecting luggage to the new cabin?
