This means they have stuck with the original names that I heard they were going to use back in 2001 when they were originally going to add the new ships. But then 9/11 happened and that all got put on the back burner for a long time.

Hi Everyone- I received a PM from Maryann with the news about Gary. I was truly shocked and so, so saddened. I clearly remembering Jimmy and I talking about them after a wonderful lunch we shared on the Med Cruise. We both said what a wonderful couple they were, and how the love they shared for each other, as well as their grandchildren shined through them like brilliant rays of sunshine. My thoughts and prayers are with them both.
I am also praying for Laura and her family.
I was so sorry I missed the NYC meet. I completely forgot about it after a long week of dog sitting my brothers 3 italian greyhounds while he was away on vacation. There were many problems, and the driving back and forth twice and three times a day was a killer, so I lost all track of dates and times.I will make the next one for sure!
Although we are not canceling yet, Im not sure we will be able to join everyone on this cruise. We will have Carley's sweet sixteen that summer, and she wants an extravaganza! The economy is not helping and to be honest, I was never all that crazy about the ports of call.I want so to go back to Europe again, and spend more time in Italy France and Spain. I feel that the Baltic is something I want to do after Ive been to Germany, Switzerland, and Ireland.
I also want to be on the new boats when they finally emerge, and this may be cutting it too close money wise to their maiden voyages.I hope if we do, all of you will have also booked so we be together again! After all, that was why that trip was so special.
I will continue to check in and let you know what is gong on in my crazy life. Please know that although I dont post often, you are always in my thoughts. Izzi keeps me up to date too.I love you all!

Tara is all over these ports, I think her travels in Europe last summer really helped her increase her enthusiasm and ours! This will be the trip of a lifetime.......don't quit Sallie!!!

Just glad that although you have been busy, everyone is OK.

I hope you're able to make the cruise. It wouldn't be the same without you. Just as Julie said, give a second look to the ports. The more I investigate them, the more enthralled I become. It really is a chance of a lifetime, and spending it with Dis friends make it more special.

Wow, times have changed. When Christine celebrated her 16th, I took her and about 5 of her friends out for the day to NYC. Yikes, now the parties are are like weddings. A few of Chrissy's friends had big bashes, but she didn't want anthing like that, thank goodness. It would probably be cheaper to take Carley's best friend with you on the Baltic as a Sweet 16 celebration!!!!!!

I'm awake but not really.............I'm in the middle of play rehearsals at my elementary school, so we go in early on Wednesdays and Fridays......this week with the rainy weather and dreary skies and time change...........
