OK, I leave at lunch to drive home. Luckily, we only live about 15 minutes away. I find the valentines in a zip-lock bag on the floor by the table. Drive to school and the Office Manager tells me I'm a GOOD MOM! :) She calls Kathryn to the office, Kathryn comes, tells me thank you and gives me a hug and a kiss! :lovestruc The vice-principal sees Kathryn and is happy too! Once again, all is right in the 9yo world!
I forgot to tell you that after I had talked to Kathryn on the phone earlier, the office manager called. She wanted to know if Kathryn had access to the house. If she did, the VP would of driven Kathryn home to get the valentines. Apparently Kathryn was rather upset and tearful without her valentines.

So drive back to work after stopping at Subway to grab a sandwich! I'm pulling into the parking space at work and my phone rings. (and vibrates too! ;) ) It's Kathryn in tears again.:sad2: She can't find her literacy folder and believes (OK, is POSITIVE) Andrew took it out of her backpack this morning when he was getting some papers. She says her teacher told her to call me. I tell her that it wasn't on the table at home with the papers. She is crying her eyes out because without the folder, she can't do a presentation with her literacy group. I tell her very calmly to look in her desk. She goes and looks and no, it's not there. She KNOWS Andrew took it out. I ask her to look in her backpack again. She does and comes back very happy. Hmm, literacy folder has magically appeared! She tells me she's sorry. I calmly (once again) tell her I'm glad it's found, but I need to get in to work now.
Once again, all is right in the world of the 9yo Drama Queen!
So, how has everyone elses day been?:rotfl2:

You can attribute this all to the excitement of Valentine's Day. Sometimes when they're excited, they become forgetful.   Good intuition on your part!

Shhhh.... be careful what you post. If the "powers to be" discover you have a daughter who can look into a backpack and make things magically appear, who knows what they might do? Recruit her for some top secret organization probably..... :rolleyes1

Details.

Paris is the capital city of France, and also said to be the romantic capital of the world,( although the Italians would dispute that and say Venice is.:confused3) Paris is the country's largest city. It is situated on the river Seine, in northern France, at the heart of the Île-de-France region (also known as the "Paris Region"; French: Région parisienne). The city of Paris, within its limits largely unchanged since 1860, has an estimated population of 2,167,994 (January 2006), but the Paris aire urbaine (or metropolitan area) has a population of nearly 12 million, and is one of the most populated metropolitan areas in Europe.

It has an extensive undergroud railway system called the Metro and can be reached by plane on two major airports, car, and Eurostar train from London.

An important settlement for more than two millennia, Paris is today one of the world's leading business and cultural centres, and its influence in politics, education, entertainment, media, fashion, science and the arts all contribute to its status as one of the world's major global cities. According to 2005 estimates, the Paris urban area is Europe's biggest city economy, and is fifth in the world's list of cities by GDP.

Paris and the Paris Region, with €533.6 billion (US$731.3 billion) in 2007, produces more than a quarter of the gross domestic product (GDP) of France. The Paris Region hosts 37 of the Fortune Global 500 companies in several business districts, notably La Défense, the largest purpose-built business district in Europe.Paris also hosts many international organizations such as UNESCO, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and the informal Paris Club.

Paris is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world, with 45 million tourists every year in the Paris Region, 60% of whom are foreign visitors. There are numerous iconic landmarks among its many attractions, along with world-famous institutions and popular parks including Disneyland Paris, with its two theme parks and various hotels both Disney and non Disney.
