Ouch. My parents used to have a couple of Dessert Tortoises and it is amazing how strong they are, even the small ones.

She said it really hurt - the one I was holding was smacking my arms and he/she wasn't as big as the one she had - of course she had to go for the one of the bigger ones- lol

She was trying to figure out how to get Fred home with her - just what I need - with a bunny, 2 guniea pigs and right now we are baby sitting her science project's male mice - they have a 4 day weekend - and can't leave them at school for that long - the female ones with all the babies are at another team mate's house - thank heavens
