OK, I'm telling you now, we will be down at DL May 15-17 and then again Dec 27-Jan 2!

Good idea!!!! :lmao:

East coasters really don't have a grip on how far it is from place to place here. Seattle is about a 20 hour drive to DL, Damn lives mid-state and it's about an 8 hour drive to DL.

Check your spelling my dear.

Well I guess everyone on this side of the pond is asleep and everyone on the other side is rushing to work or whatever.

Good Night, Good Morning Ballyhooers Wherever you might be

Drive straight through, bring a cooler with your own food and drink and sleep in your car!!!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: I believe I just saved you hundreds of dollars!!:thumbsup2

The cooler works. And the drive (though painful) is doable.
But sleeping in the car is an option I'd really rather avoid. I know the Matterhorn Bobsled vibrates enough to loosen up muscle stiffness, but still....:rolleyes1

I guess Cali is a bigger state than anyone knows?:confused3

Actually, it's just as odd for us to come back East. The idea that you can drive for a few hours and visit as many states is pretty surprising.

Of course there is always Godiva! Or as Kathryn used to call it Gondola!

I know this sounds somewhat blasphemous from someone who believes that Chocolate is an essential food group, but I generally don't like Godiva chocolate. It's just too rich - like biting into gooey chocolate flavored butter.

Both are a long shot at the moment.

I am hoping to hit WDW this summer along with seeing a space shuttle launch and perhaps a 3 or 4 night cruise - a lot depends on the economy (both my own income and what kinds of discounts are available).

And I've been to DL during the holiday season - just a bit too crowded for my taste - though again, this year may be better on that score.

Just checking in to say "GM" (Robert Speak) and see how the pirate: run is going!

I doubt I will be involved in the pirate: as I have several things to do today but will check in when I can!popcorn:: :thumbsup2

No, I have driven through it many times, and helped at road construction sites from San Diego to Ojai, from Santa Monica to the Colorado River. I know quite well how big the state is.
I don't believe she meant everyone in the whole, wide world dear. I'm thinking she meant people who maybe haven't been to California before.

I know that, but how can I pad my post count if I don't respond?:confused3 I was thinking that a pirate: run was coming on, but I guess it will wait to start.:surfweb:

Good Morning all!

To answer the question - Plans for Valentine's day.......

Hair and nails in the AM, pack up the cat to drop him for the week at DD's, pack for our trip to WDW. Probably no energy left for anything else (shhhhh. don't let on to DH) :rotfl: :rotfl:
