:wizard: How about a tag or two, mods? :dance3: :rolleyes1

Good late morning, afternoon and evening!
Didn't get on before work this morning. I had to bring my sister to the airport. I had set my alarm for 1/2 hour earlier than usual and it didn't go off! I woke up when my dear sweet husbands alarm went off! Good thing he sets his for me too!

Thank you. As a matter of fact, due to our DCL friends and some things Tara learned while living in Germany & London, we are indeed very insular. It's not our fault, I think it's our news coverage. It's very lacking in foreign affairs. With apologies.........

Are you saying that we (i.e. us DCL folks this side of the pond) and your daughter's stay in Germany have highlighted the overall lack of knowledge that many US folks have about general things that happen outside of the US :confused3 :confused3 If so I agree that it's down to your press coverage. When we're over there and looking through the newspapers we can rarely find anything that relates to other parts of the world, even headline stuff

AAWWWWWW what a sweetie :lovestruc

Thanks, I wasn't sure so I checked it out. I guess Slumdog is the big winner this year. I saw it last weekend, anyone else see it?

I did -- it's certainly a great movie, and I found myself thinking about it for days, which is the sign of a movie that is doing more than entertain. However, despite the fairy tale ending, I found much of it so violent that I don't know that I could see it again, which is too bad. For a good film, I find so much more depth on a second look -- once you know what is going to happen, you notice foreshadowings, etc. My personal favorite of the films nominated is "Milk" -- a real inspiration to me about how someone can persist in what they believe in and make a difference.

I knew the BAFTAs were yesterday, and certainly what they were, Izzie!

I'm a subscriber to the New York Times, and I can assure you that it is not true everywhere in the US. However, we in Manhattan like to call ourselves a little island off the coast of Europe, so that makes a difference;)

I like the majority of these, but there are a couple of my favorite ones that aren't on here.
I did notice they added at least 1 new one and that's the Deb's Supporter one.

I'm having lunch right now, I'll share if you'd like.
Chicken teriyaki, rice and chicken chow mein

Alot of the podcasts have been doing WDW restaurant review's lately makes me hungry!;) :lmao:

 :sad1: :sad2:  Sadly I tried & was told that they would not deliver to the homestead!:sad1: :sad2::sad:
Even if I gave them a cabin number!

:sad1: :sad1: That is just so wrong on so many levels. If we call they should deliver them wherever we are. :lmao: I'll even pay the ship to shore charges for the phone call. :rotfl2:

Sounds good, but I decided to have a Hershey's Special Dark bar - should have just opened my Cadbury Bourneville bar as it would ahve been so much better.
