Mmmm, they both sound good:confused3
See Pirate Scooby is fine unless my DH decides to join us down the road. He usually goes by Scooby or Darth Scooby.
ohh, let him find another one...I go with Pirate Scooby for 2000;)

Andrew :wave2:
How is your back?
Everyone I know that has had a slipped disc in their back has taken a long time to heal. Hope you are on your way
:grouphug:

Thank you for asking, good news is that I can walk around and have been back to work, bad news is the pain is bad, in the mornings and I can only describe myself as stiff in the mornings ( before any quips;) Dis board guidelines please:sad2: ).

Particularly bad this morning, hard getting in/out the car, but :scared: get the odd sharp pain, maybe a trapped nerve.

There is no absolute name for anything!!! If you want to be understood, use the term that is correct for where you are, right?:thumbsup2 In NYC, as you well know, you will only get the sandwich you want if you order corned beef:goodvibes

I definately know to order my sandwich as a corned beef sandwich at Junior's.
Just hoping for good weather that day, at least no snow. :upsidedow

Wow it started off pretty nice & then turned into a joint Hop on Pop episode!:mic: :sad1: :scared: :scratchin

But so far everything is good lost weight Blood pressure is good, and since U are all so concerned I will let U all know about the cholesterol when I get the results from the blood test back!::yes::

Untill then all's that I can say is BUTTAH!:thumbsup2 pirate: :cool1:

Wow I have been hit by the Barb & Izzie Terrible Disser Tag Team again!:crowded:

Watch out U could be next!:scared: :faint:

Take it easy Andrew and keep taking the meds. :grouphug: :flower3:

U R A good sport!:thumbsup2 ::cop: :faint:

Ps can your hubby fix parking tickets in MA?:lmao:

I sincerely doubt it. As a matter of fact he can't fix parking tickets in the OC either. Because they are printed in triplicate, the two extra copies are turned in at the end of a shift and immediately entered into the system. Darn commputer:badpc: :)

Hello to all Who Ballyhoo

Do not be alarmed by the fact that my Dear Sweet Caro has not posted this morning and might not be as Chattilicious as normal. She alas is feeling unwell  and is currently recuperating by still slumbering. So send her :grouphug: and pixiedust: and I am sure she will be :thumbsup2 soon.

Feel better soon Carolyn!!:flower3: :flower3: :grouphug: :grouphug: :flower3: :flower3:

I'm alive! I'm still unwell, but I did manage to get up, shower and have an english muffin.

Oh well!

Boy, it was a bad day for the economy in the Seattle area yesterday. :sad2: Not only did Boeing announce their additional layoffs, but Starbucks announced 6000 layoffs in their stores and 350 layoffs in their corporate offices.
True, neither company will have all layoffs coming from the Seattle area, but it's still not good. The Seattle Times did say that the layoffs announced yesterday are not supposed to affect the Commercial Airline group, which I'm a part of. Those layoffs are coming from the defense division and the corporate support-services unit.
I guess it's just a wait and see game for now. Thanks for all the good thoughts!

Last night Bob and I watched a show on the Travel channel called Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern. He was in St. Petersburg. He went to a large type of farmers market, very interesting. He also went to a type of cafeteria and enjoyed that very much. You would not believe all the types of Borcht. I grew up across the street from a Jewish family and they would make borcht but it was based with beets and was red. This place had multi colors and ingredients. There were all kind of small kiosk type places that sold Blinys. They looked good.
Now apparently they eat a lot of fish and one of the favorites is fried Lamprey. EEEEEEEEWWWWWWW. This man who goes to different countries and eats, bugs, tarantulas, rats, etc, hated them! http://www.123rf.com/photo_3380192.html actually this picture looks way better then what he was served. Apparently bear is quite plentiful and he also had a bear patty, fixed like you would make a meatloaf. He said that "wasn't too bad but was kind of gamey"!
I was going to add a bear smilie, but the only one they have is Pooh, and that would be just wrong!;)

Fingers crossed -- we have had a very cold and fairly snowy winter so far and it can still be snowy into mid-March, but it is less likely as we head to the end of Feb certainly . . .

I'm alive! I'm still unwell, but I did manage to get up, shower and have an english muffin.

Just rest -- good news about your job, too:goodvibes
