It tastes better than it looks, I tried it at Barnes & Noble...........they usually have a coffee section and the one I was at had a Cheesecake Factory display. They were selling it as a cupcake............

Ok this made me laugh. Several years ago--my aunt asked my Dad to bring a cake for Christmas eve that said "Happy Birthday Jesus" on it. My Dad was kinda embarressed to ask for it at the bakery, but he did it to please my aunt. While he was there he also got a cake for our family for Christmas day. Feeling rebellious, he asked them to write something different on it....

No, thank goodness! I hate the ones that look good, but turn out to be sweet or something -- ugh! NYC pretzels must be an import from real German ones, since we don't generally like non-NYC pretzels . . .

I think it ws Zack! When I said "He's 10 years old!" they said that was the drinking age in Mexico!

Actually, tequila is one of my least favorite drinks. Maybe they could tell that about me, kind of the way a dog smells fear and goes to that person.

I'm not the biggest fan of tequila but I've learned it's very effective.

We booked this cruise as well. Will be traveling with our daughter (12) and son (10). I've lurked here while anticipating our 3 day cruise last month. We had such a great time that we booked this 12 night Northern Capitals cruise while onboard. (The discount helped too). We're looking forward to this cruise as we've never seen Europe before. We saw this as a great way for us and our kids to see a few places we might never see. And, we get to enjoy the Disney boats in the process.

If you don't want to go to all that trouble, you can just check page one where important info about the actual cruise is located. This is my all time most favoritest cake in the world. I have to have it with the cooked roux icing that is mentioned in the definition and not a cream cheese icing that everyone wants to put on it now.
I was just saying last night that I need to make one, now I think I really have to make one.

Thinking about Germany: honestly some of our best memories were of wandering around smaller German villages with no particular plan in mind. That is why I am looking at perhaps taking the train to Lubeck, or Schwerin, or Rostock, while we are in Warnemunde. I know the region of Germany is completely different from where we were (our main cities were Berlin, Leipzig, Dresden, and Prague in the Czech Republic) but I think the experience of wandering a small village is much the same.

Julie, I would love to hear about Prague if you don't mind. DD will be going there this summer on her trip. You can PM me. Or better yet, you can tell DD about it on the 28th at John's. Thanks,
