GOOD MORNING, AFTERNOON AND EVENING BALLYHOOERS!!
I have a bit of a voice today, not much but at least it's more than a whisper. Staying home from work today would of been nice.

Get well soon -- there are so many different illnesses going around these days, none of them easy to recover from!:grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:

Morning All

Again a quick fly past to pop my head in and check everyone is ok.

JoAnn my weekend was uber boring, the recession has hit Paul's business hard, folks just don't have that little bit of extra money to go out to eat, so he's feeling pretty down at the moment and so our weekends are quiet.

Still the weather this week is supposed to be improving, the sun is out at the moment and we've predicted hights today of 10 -11 deg C (approx 50F)

Hopefully, when the weather breaks and spring comes.....things will improve.....

Keep drinking that tea and honey!!:flower3: :flower3: :flower3:

Hi Ballyhooers! The rain is back and I love it!
I am sorry about your husband's business Izzi. We too have cut back on our eating out. And when we do go we never seem to have to wait for a table any more. :flower3:
I am glad you are honking at least Carolyn!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

:thumbsup2

Hi U all.

Andrew, since you are from the SOUTH of England, I suppose I shouldn't be surprised to hear you say "you all" . . .:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

(BTW, here in the States, that is a Southern expression, often abbreviated "y'all")

From London ''MINT''

Mint= cool , as in cool mint sweets, as in USA candy, oh you know what I mean,

Hi Everybody!

Just a quick drive-by to say Hi. We need a new power cord for the laptop, so I haven't been around too much. Hope everyone is well and had a nice valentine's Day.

We have friends from New York that have relocated to Georgia. I love to hear them say "all y'all" with the New York accents. That's where linda and I picked up the habit of saying y'all.

Andrew told me I need to post to let you all know I'm not honking quite as much now! My voice is starting to come back.

Now that :rotfl2: would:rotfl2: be strange! Is "y'all" one and "all y'all" multiples?

I don't really think it was very chivalrous of Andrew to call it "honking" even if the word "less" was attached:rotfl:

Yes, the plural of y'all is all y'all's. Unfortunately I have caught myself using the plural version many times.

Robbie likes it when I tease him! So we all know what certain people were doing last night. :lovestruc Anyone else want to share their Val Day memories?........keep it clean! Ken & I went to dinner and as soon as we sat down the table next to us said, "Do you like Chardonnay?" Apparently, they had ordered two bottles and couldn't finish the second. So they poured me a glass. :woohoo: We had a Valentine's dinner at Phillip's Restaurant in the Pier. Then we gambled and even though I lost a few times, I won it back and left the casino winning...................... 31 cents!
:rotfl: Anyway, it's better than losing!

We love Phillip's. In fact, there is a quick serve one along 95, just north of Baltimore at the Maryland House rest stop. I love to stop there and get cream of crab soup.
Very nice of the table next to you to share their wine.
Too funny about winning 31 cents. :thumbsup2

Our Valentine's Day was going to my cousin's daughter's wedding and having a nice meal of fried chicken and roast beef.
Here is a pic of DD at her post of guest book attendant.

I'm surprised you were able to post those pics.......the way that I do it, I have to make them smaller first!

Phillips is really great.......as you know it's based in Maryland and they put one in on the Pier in Atlantic City. I wasn't expecting to like it as much as we did......hope the wedding was fun!:cutie:
