They ended up not bumping us after all. The gate agent was sure she was going to need us as the flight was oversold by more than 20, but 15 or so never checked in.

We are back home now. Our luggage decided to take a later flight from Atlanta and will be here in the morning.

Happy New Year everyone!!!
Can't believe we can finally say we go to the Baltics NEXT YEAR.

We made it back from Arizona around midnight. We had a great trip with wonderful DIS friends. The weather wasn't too bad overall; the first few days were cool with cold nights, the last few days the days were in the low 70's and the nights in the mid 50's.
We did lots of touring and shopping and eating.

We also tried to get bumped from our flight coming home. I was the first in line to volunteer and we also weren't needed.

Yes, thats is a problem it will only sit 14 so 7 couples, but a lot from the Med in 07

She had a white fur coat on.........it will be cool to see if she is in the tabloids this week wearing the coat that I saw........I've heard she doesn't like to wear coats........

We were leaving Avenue Q and we were two theatres from All My Sons and there were several creepy photographers outside the theatre. The cops were yelling at the paparazzi, so we knew we had to find out what was going on. So we hung around (and froze) for about 20 minutes and first Katie and Surie came out and ducked into a car, then........Tom came out and he was gorgeous! He waved (to me, I think ) and then also went into the car. My DDs were trying to take a picture but it was really tough, so I think we did get a blurry one but that was it. It was really funny and we all enjoyed the quest!

Ok, this is not a pic that we took, but my DD found them from ones posted by the paparazzi. While I was doing this I FOUND PICS OF MARY JO, a DISboard moderator who we sailed with in 2007!!!........MJ was in DL for New Years!

Ok, this is not a pic that we took, but my DD found them from ones posted by the paparazzi. While I was doing this I FOUND PICS OF MARY JO, a DISboard moderator who we sailed with in 2007!!!........MJ was in DL for New Years!

Great pic of Mary Jo and the kids, funny Paul and I were just talking about them a couple of days ago ........ spooky huh !

Tell me does anyone else think that Katie looks as though she has jaundice ?? Her skin looks so yellow

Hi everyone!!!!!

We had a FABULOUS New Year's eve cruise and things are back to normal here . . . I will post pictures over the next few days, but first of all:

Hement sends his regards to Laura ("that nice lady") and to Andrew and Carolyn and their girls . . . we had the "dream team" as servers this time . . . Hement and Aswald, with Maclean as head server. The weather was spectacular -- warm and sunny on every stop (Key West, Cayman, Cozumel, Castaway Cay) . . . great weather on the ship . . . Christiaan as cruise director and his wife had their first baby, a boy, on New Year's day (Brent was coming in on Saturday to let him be home with her for about 3 months). The decorations were lovely -- very upscale Christmas decorations and a huge gingerbread house in the Prominade lounge like the one at the GF . . . NYE was wonderful -- we got tiaras and top hats at dinner, and there was a deck party from 9:30 to past midnight and fireworks and tons of confetti at midnight, plus free champagne in commemorative glasses . . . etc., etc. Seven nights seems a little short after the long cruises we have had the past two years, but it was wonderful all around.
