As some of you are aware Josh underwent major spinal surgery at the beginning of July last year
Anyway we had his 6 month checkup with his consult and and everything is looking REALLY good. So much so he can start to slowly wean himself off having to wear the back brace
:woohoo : He now no longer has to sleep in it. He still needs to wear it for school but once he gets home he can take it off.
As he used to swim competitively, and still swam at the club under a coach before the operation, he doesn't need to have physio if he goes back to regularly training a couple of times a week. Again he'll have to start off slowly and he'll get tired very quickly but it's all going in the right direction.
I can't tell you how relieved I am. As some of you know it was a very, very difficult descision to make to have the surgery, but it was the right one and now it's nearly all over.
