Well, I'm not revealing anything but great series!!:goodvibes

Hi folks:

Just dropping in to say hello. My life got very busy lately so I've only been able to stop in and do a quick read every few days.

Hope things are going well and everyone is still employed and enjoying their holiday preparations.

Dan

Tomorrow starts my last week of rotation! And if I get enough interventions by thursday, I don't have to go in on Friday! The countdown is on. (Well, OK, it's been on since the first day, but now it's winding down!):woohoo:

have a great week Ballyhooers!

Hi Dan! We're all pretty busy now, which is why the thread has slowed down so much.

Sounds great, Mike! Fingers crossed that you get Friday off . . .

GOOD MORNING BALLYHOOERS!!!

It is currently 19 degrees here with the snow still around. School are delayed 2 hours. Both girls are supposed to have concerts at school tonight. We'll see if it happens.
Off to make my way to work on maybe icy roads.

Hope you had a safe drive in this morning.

It's supposed to be in the mid 60's here today and then more rain moves in. :confused3

One week to go..........anyone else panicking yet? :scared1:

OK 3 hours no posts, all Christmas shopping again....

Yesterday we had a family dinner to go to a couple hours away and we did stop on the way home to go shopping. Gotta stop at Target when we are near one since we have to drive a distance to get to one.

Lots to do the next few days, including a meeting at school tonight to learn about DD's reapplication process for 10th grade.

Hi everyone,

We just got back from our WDW trip/Wonder cruise late last night. We had a great time. The parks were busier than they were when we were there at the same time last year, but between fast passes and being there at rope drops we managed to get a lot done. The weather was in the mid to upper 60's most days. Yesterday was sunny and warmer. We stayed at Animal Kingdom Villas and really liked the 1 bedroom villa, especially the washer/dryer. We decided on the cruise to add more DVC points (did an add on at BLT) so we can stay in 1 bedrooms all the time and start cruising on points. Our cruise was a mousefest cruise and I got to meet Deb from Allearsnet and some other web site founders and authors.

We went to MK on the Christmas parade taping day and avoided the filming all day since most of the crowds were there. As we were getting ready to hop to Epcot for dinner, we were passing the stage and they announced Miley and Billy Ray Cyrus would be singing so we stayed for that. We were stuck in the crowd anyways, doing multiple retakes of the same song and crowd panning. Billy pretended to throw his glasses and a present out which had the crowd jumping up and down. I'm sure ABC will show that as the reaction to him coming on stage instead! It was interesting to see how they taped it. We were in the back of the crowd to the right of the stage and a camera man came up and filmed the boys right in their faces, but I'm not sure if they'll be on it since they said they do tons of editing.

We had decent servers on the Wonder and a good room location --6538. Our friends sailing with us on their first cruise loved it. We told them to be prepared to rebook and they said it would be their first and last--before they cruised. They rebooked!

Great time's great friends who could ask for anything more!:thumbsup2

No no I am here just lurking .....I'm keeping my head down at work and things are a little fraught at home at the mo. Both Paul and I are very, very tired and I can only use the laptop in the lounge as that's as far as our wireless signal goes and Paul watches the TV in the lounge for football so I've been going to bed early :cloud9: :cloud9:

So upshot is I'm keeping "ketched up" but not much else ...... love to all:grouphug: :grouphug:
Hey Izzie how are you?:thumbsup2

I wonder if that's why we haven't heard from Robert for a little while?

I had wondered about that -- my sister in Boston was hit hard . . .

Hope everyone up there is OK, :thumbsup2

I hadn't heard anything about ice until the late news last night when I heard they were sending power trucks from our area up north. Then when I read all this just now I was also wondering if it's why we haven't heard from Robert in a few days.

We had the torrential downpours, but thankfully the temperature was above freezing, or it would have been pretty nasty. Also, thank goodness the power stayed on and our sump pump was working. Or friends that live on the next street over and a little further down the hill had about a foot of water in their basement.

Adding our thoughts to Robert and all of our friends up North that everyone is OK.

Thank you for all you warm thoughts:goodvibes :goodvibes :cool1: we did not have icing on the coast, however we had some flooding with the rains, & I have been busy in Boston with some related problems, but all is back to normal now so I can check in!:cool1: :woohoo:  :thumbsup2

Also anyone on the Hanuka card list, I have now mailed all the cards!:scared:

Okay I think that does it as U-ALL say I am All Ketched up no mustard!

So nice to hear you had a great trip.
My friend was at the parade taping and was telling me about Billy Ray and Miley. She likes to get there early so she can be int he front row to see the parade. She was there 2 years ago and loved the parade taping and thought she would go again now that she's living down there.

Too funny about your friends rebooking on the cruise. Another hooked family. :thumbsup2

Now that we know you are safe and sound and not iced over I've gotta run and get stuff done today since DH is home today and tomorrow.
