been busy also doing lots of :laundy: for our quickly approaching 12/27/08 cruise :boat:

hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving weekend

Kara has a like 3 swim meets between now and our leaving so lots of :fish: for her and :car: for me

:)

Oh g-d what a busy day I had hoped that it would be a quiet one so I could go to sleep and leave on time but it has been manic. I've spent most of the day doing invoice analysis as all thre senior managers try to cut costs so they can show they can make savings without losing head count :scared: I guess this is going to be quite alot of my work over the coming weeks so I'm trying to do the best for them. I still have to day my daily day to day stuff as well so at least it's going to make the time go fast.

Anyway it's now 2 hours AFTER I should have gone home and I'm still at my desk. Once I do go home I think it'll be dinner and bed so I'll take the oppotunity now to say have a good evening everyone and

night, night, play nice :grouphug:

Try to keep your head on straight and get rest some each night. :grouphug:

I will post something tomorrow fot the Christmas Picture Countdown.

Thank you.

This is from last year, seeing Santa as we always do at Macy's Santaland. My youngest still believed then (her last year) and I loved this candid shot of her going over her list with Santa.

I have to say, that when I brought my girls up to Macy's Santa about 10 or so years ago, it really felt like the "real" Santa! It was a heartwarming visit and a treasured family moment. It brings back how you feel the first time you see "Miracle on 34th Street.":santa:

They just do such a good job with the entire Santaland you go through before seeing him . . . and then the Santa (Santas -- there are always lots but you can't see the others!) is always so good . . . my girls have never known another kind, although I think we did stop by the Santa at Bloomindale's once because we were there shopping before Christmas and they weren't impressed!

:wave2: Everybody!

Just a quick note to explain my absence - thanks Caropooh! Got your message and concern - thank you all! :goodvibes Anyway, just wanted to say that I was hit with the flu and AFTER taking my medications, got hit with a moderate case of bronchitis which my kids promptly decided that NOW was a good time to sit down with mom which promptly got them sick.

I am on the mends now but am taking some more time off as I was again drafted to take pictures of soccer for both JV and Varsity. I found NERO 9 which I am learning to turn into a slideshow. So far so good, did a very, very rough draft of volleyball and looks like I'll be getting some good service hours (required from parents at DD's school) in return. Apart from that, this Sunday, is the annual March for Hunger 2009 (26.2 miles from East L.A. to Santa Monica in one day) which usually takes about 15-18 hours to complete. This year, since I am still recovering, I have opted to drive and transport kids in my Expedition along with DH and periodically I will be walking to take some candids of the students to put into another slideshow for.....you guessed it more service hours. I have to put in a total of 55 service hours due to DD's involvement in sports.

So, life has been busy, I got jilljill's Xmas card - thank you! Loved it - and tonight, at DD's club practice, I will be attempting to fill out envelopes in the hopes of getting another errand started and hopefully done.

So, I will probably be a bit absent until after Wednesday as on Sunday, I have to be up at 5:30 for 6 am mass with Archbiship from Los Angeles, Cardinal Mahoney couldn't make it. So, since this requires an early am from me, I am attempting to get this carcass in shape.

I will sign off now as I have to leave in 10 minutes but thank you all for your concern, I have not managed to keep up but I will the first chance I get.

Love you all - now, does anyone know where the cleaning :tink: is? I could sure use her help!!!!!!:rotfl:
