That sounds so neat! I'd love to see wildlife from my house!

We don't live in a rural area either. We are close to the interstate and many busy roads around us. It's just all the developements around us have had to clear out some woods to be built, so they are all built with woods around. We hadn't been here long when we had a fox in the backyard. We also have lots of turtles and huge frogs since there are wetlands in our backyard and across the street from us in the woods. This happens when your house is only about 100 feet above sea level - about the same as WDW.

It does look a bit different with someone in shorts in the pic. The last time we were there there was a layer of ice on the water and I have pics of the seagulls standing on the ice. :scared1: :cold:  Nothing like riding the astro orbiters (or whatever it's called there) in temps in the mid to upper 20's. :faint: :crazy2: :scared:
Yeah we were there in June pretty nice!

Right now I could use a couple of inches of snow :scared1: , can't believe I said that. I'm watching 6 deer play in the field behind our house, one of which only has 3 legs. The field is really someone's back yard, but it's on the other side of a fence from us and there's woods next to it. A little bit ago we also had 2 bunnies playing in the back yard. This would be the only time I'd want to see snow here since the deer would be easier to spot.
Snow I hate Snow!
Deer I hate Deer they eat my shruberies!:headache:
But we have lots of Deer, Turkey, foxes, coyotes, bunnies & we are 15 minutes from Boston!:hippie:

Coyotes... :scared1: :scared1: now that just sounds scary.

I don't mind the deer since they don't come in our yard, they just play in the field.
Snow....I HATE that stuff. It's only good if you look at it in pics. :sad2:

Great starting to feel like Christmas is coming...

Wow where did everyone go?

You mean you missed our other thread that we are all talking away on?;)

A head's up -- my TA emailed me that she had DCL remove all the fuel supplement charges from this cruise and the two I have following it in 2010 -- so if your TA hasn't already contacted you about it, you might want to ask him/her about it. I always find that mine handles everything without my asking, which is wonderful!:goodvibes

Thanks for bringing this up again.......I just emailed my TA. Pic was great today!

OK, so it's a couple hours early, but I'm heading to bed soon and tomorrow is going to be really busy.

I went with some pictures of a few of my Christmas decorations. They're all quotes about Christmas.

The last one is a little hard to read in the picture, but it's a quote by Agnes Pharo, to answer the question "What is Christmas?"

"Christmas is tenderness for the past, courage for the present, hope for the future. It is a fervent wish that every cup may overflow with blessings rich and eternal, and that every path may lead to peace."

Just emailed my TA again (DU :sad2: :sad2:   ) to see if she can do anything about our FS. I have to say on the evidence of service level so far I am NOT happy with DU

These are wonderful, Mike!

Well, my TA gave the same OBC as DU and is totally responsive to every issue . . . anyone who is interested can always PM me (although it may be too late for you, Izzy, since you are already booked?:confused3 ).

I have to say I am very surprised by DU so far. On all our other DCL cruises we'd on;l heard glowing reports from fellows cruises and after meeting Mary Jo on the Med cruise it really felt like a no brainer when this came up. I guess I'm just a little disappointed that's all, maybe I expected too much but so far all I've had are curt, dismissive emails no friendly service at all. :confused3  :sad2:

Well, here's my story: on the first DCL cruise I went on, I booked with DU, experienced what you have, rebooked onboard and asked NOT to have the TA put on there . . . then later I found my current TA, transferred the cruise I had booked onboard to her, and since have sailed 4 times with her and have many more booked. I know that Andrew was always happy with his DU TA, but that was not my experience. A good TA makes everything easier -- a less than good one actually makes everything harder because you can't call and deal with DCL directly.

Good Morning, and yes that must be it!;)

OMG :scared1: :scared1: :scared: :scared: :scared: :scared: We've just been sent this email by our general manager,I hope that I'm not one of the poor souls

During October and November each General Manager in London has been reviewing (and continues to review) their costs including their future resourcing requirements. The Bank and I wish to be totally transparent with staff on this issue and although no final decision has been made, it is anticipated that redundancies may become necessary. However before any redundancies are confirmed the Bank will first explore other potential alternatives.
