7/18/2010 Mickey's Baltic Ballyhoo!! Part 2

THANK YOU MIKE (I am being careful how I put this to meet forum guidelines)

Yes its funny, me being spot on about the Baltic as far back as April and May this year was attacked by the same person who said I couldn't know and it was pure speculation in a very long post.
They also said DCL would be mad to do the Med again saying it lost lots of money last time and had to discount a lot.

Now thoose who followed the 2010 threads ( there were many) will know I was prity accurate from TA ports of call changing, to 'extra Europe repos, I called them 'phantom cruises' To Russia being included and Malta and Tunis included.

I think now the 'reaction' I am getting now from the same area, might be that I have been proven correct in most cases on our 'exchanges'.

Hmm... I got busy last week and haven't been around and have no idea what this is about. However, over two cruises and countless times on the DIS boards there is no doubt in my mind that Andrew is one of the most knowledgable people I've met on all things DCL (and other things as well). Also very helpful to others.

Hope you all have had a good holiday so far and enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Any Ballyhooers been early morning shopping :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1
NOPE! :lmao:
The girls and I are getting ready to go up to Seattle to march in a parade as clowns (Alana and I) and a snowflake (Kathryn). I'll try and get pictures!
Hope all you shoppers are having a wonderful time!

You bet -- we always go to Santa to see him in Macy's Santaland the day after Thanksgiving . . . and H & M had 20% off everything in the store (on top of sales) before 10 . . .:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Now we are about to go to the Radio City Christmas show -- another day after Thanksgiving tradition . . . tomorrow we will get our tree and begin decorating.

That sounds like a lot of fun and good traditions to have. :santa:

I must say I was shocked to see Rick Astley looking older -- but aren't we all now:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Surprisingly, Andy Williams -- who if I had been asked, would have said was no longer with us -- looked pretty chipper -- go figure;)

Andrew, it looks so much better than that when you are there and the balloons are looming overhead . . . you must come one day (although I realize it is a problem since we can't very well expect your children to get off for American Thanksgiving:laughing: )

Yes, it was nice to see it reported in our news here, great to see some pics, It woundnt be possible to go at that time as you say re kids school, but they are starting to do simular, but less grand stuff for the London new year parde and a lot of people come from the USA for that.

Does anyone want to do an advent calender on this thread?

Each day another person posts a Christmas or holiday season picture from December 1st to Christmas day.

Thoughts?

We can work a rotation list,

If so can I bag Dec 1st, to start it, as its a special day for me!

OMG how sad .......... I'm mean it's only shopping :scared1: :scared1:

Sounds like a super idea. I'm in. How do you want to work it? Do you want to start a sign up list so we each have a different day?

Yes we all can choose a day, if you have figured how to post a picture, and either choose a date special to you, or just do it in order of sign up.

Its up to you what to post, something local on a Christmas theme, or anything you think of interest, like an advent calender, each day we will see a new picture.
