Good morning all, even if it's a bit early on this side of the pond.


Happy Thanksgiving to everyone, even to the other side of the pond. We all have something to be thankful for.

Izzi, I have gone totally mad... ...just totally mad. We went up to NY today to go shopping at an outlet mall up there and I bought a pair of Jimmy Choo boots. DH said he learned his lesson last year when he told me I couldn't get a pair of Gucci boots I found, I hadn't let him forget that. So he told me I get the Jimmy's but now I have to wait until Christmas to wear them. But I'm a happy girl knowing they are waiting for me.

Woodbury Commons. Wow, I see that we both shop way too much since we know where each other shops.
We've been going up there since 1991 or 1992.

Jimmy Choo are my absolutely favourite of all I would love a pair of boots but I don't do high heels very well so I tend to stick to flat pumps (3 pairs) and handbags (4)

Hi everyone.. I wanted to wish you all a happy healthy, and wonderful Thanksgiving. I want you all to know how thankful I am for my Dis friends, new and old.
We are off early tomorrow to spend the weekend at my cousins and godmother's house in Staten Island and New Jersey. I have a big ,loud Italian family. I am so thankful for cousins and aunts and godmothers especially since both my parents and Jimmy's parents have passed away.
Holidays are never the same once you loose your parents especially your mother. But, life goes on and you find how vital friends as well as family can be.

Andrew.. I have no idea what was said or done, but I personally can say, I do not think I would have been as prepared or ready for our Med cruise were it not for you. I know that your help and knowledge saved me a lot of money and time. I look forward to all your posts and all your pearls of wisdom.
Just another example of people with too much time on their hands, and not being raised properly! This is why I like animals more than people!!!

I've been wanting these boots a couple of years now and wasn't going to pay retail . My DD asked me if I was going to get a pair and I told her I don't think they will have the ones I want since they are still in the retail line, but lo and behold they had them in brown and in my size.

No, no...no tassles. They are the plain ones, the pair before that pair. So it's the 4th pair from the last. I can't count.

Ok, not so funky, but very elegant . I'm after a pair of black ankle boot/shoes in black patent for my aunt-in-law's
70th birthday party. I've got a 60's inspired A-line LBD and I want to wear the boots with some burgandy opaque tights.
