Thanks oh google queen! :worship:
Sounds like a kugle. Why didn't she just say that in the first place? :thumbsup2

No :sad2: :sad2: Kuggle is like a cake made with matzo meal and egg and then it's fried and you put sugar over it a bit like a funnel cake. Lochshen pudding is made with lochen either thick or thin like vermecelli and eggs and sugar and then baked in the oven

YOur pudding sounds like a noodle kugle. I'm going to get in trouble for finding this:

Kugel (Yiddish: קוגל kugl or קוגעל, pronounced either koogel with the "oo" like the "oo" in "book or "look", or kigel, as was pronounced in Galicia) is any one of a wide variety of traditional baked Jewish side dishes or desserts. It is sometimes translated as "pudding" or "casserole".

Kugels may be sweet or savory. The most common types are made from egg noodles (called lochshen kugels) or potatoes and often contain eggs, but there are recipes in everyday use in modern Jewish kitchens for a great diversity of kugels made with different vegetables, fruit, batters, cheese, and other flavorings and toppings.

I'm a lumberjack and I'm okay,
I sleep all night and I work all day.
Chorus: He's a lumberjack and he's okay,
He sleeps all night and he works all day.
I cut down trees, I eat my lunch,
I go to the lavatory.
On Wednesdays I go shopping

And hav
e buttered scones for tea.
Mounties: He cuts down trees, he eats his lunch,
He goes to the lavatory.
On Wednesdays he goes shopping
And has buttered scones for tea.
Chorus: He's a lumberjack and he's okay,
He sleeps all night and he works all day.
I cut down trees, I skip and jump,
I like to press wild flowers.
I put on women's clothing,
And hang around in bars.
Mounties: He cuts down trees, he skips and jumps,
He likes to press wild flowers.
He puts on women's clothing,
And hangs around in
bars.
Chorus: He's a lumberjack and he's okay,
He sleeps all night and he works all day.
I cut down trees, I wear high heels,
Suspendies and a bra.
I wish I'd been a girlie,
Just like my dear pappa.
Mounties: He cuts down trees, he wears high heels?
Suspendies...and a bra?
...he's a lumberjack and he's okay,
He sleeps all night and he works all day.
...he's a lumberjack and he's OKAAAAAAAAAAYYY.
He sleeps all night and he works all day.

Wooo "noodle kugle" sounds really weird but I think it's the same thing...I'll stick to lockshen pudding if you don't mind I think my family might bust a gut if I ask them if they want any "noodle kugle" :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

You'll have to ask them sometime and just tell them some crazy American's told you that's what it's called. That should get you off the hook and give them a very good laugh. :rotfl2:

Carolyn won't mind you not filling her boots just minding the store in an emergency :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

No clue what either of those are so I don't know if they are yummy or not. :confused3

You don't know what latkes are? I'm a shiksa too and I love them! (Then again, I live in NYC.) Hot pancakes with chopped potatoes and onions -- very very yummy.:thumbsup2

I think I will actually start to look at my pics from our cruise this past summer and see if I can get some posted for all to see. :thumbsup2

Wish me luck...... :flower:

I already told them as I read out your post to them and then I had to pick them up off the floor as they cried with laughter :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

They already know I've got crazy DIS friends so that bit just normal :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Plus I didn't post a picture since she had already done that. So I really do think I'll be off the hook. :flower3:
If not then I'll jsut have to send her some Mickey Bars on the ship. :cool1:

I've done my job rather well today - making someone and their family laugh in London and make someone else laugh in Arizona. Both of whom were met on the DIS. It's a good day in Delaware today. :rotfl:
