Those look great:thumbsup2
I'm sure we'll need several (4-5).
Are you taking orders now ?

No not yet Laurie. I'll put a shout out nearer the cruise.....it's a bit too far away just yet and you never know what might happen. I'm a little supersticious like that.

Izzi, How is your back ?

It really strange it keeps coming and going and the pain seems to move around. This morning my back is fine but the pain seems to be in my neck....ok get the jokes over then those who need easy ammunition :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Thanks for asking Laurie

Gotcha, that makes me feel better. I'm about half way done shopping. :woohoo: It's the wrapping that I get behind on since it makes my back hurt.

I'm with you there on that one Barb, although this year will be easier as the boys just aren't getting that much stuff as they are getting older and a little bit of money is just so much easier. Spare a thought for us thought as hannukah is over 8 days so 8 x presents :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

I have to say that Disney decorates my entire house and I mean entire house. I love the Mickey and Mickey bathroom faucets that we have in all the bathrooms, I wish we had gotten the sink for the powder room but we didn't. :confused3
::MickeyMo and all his friends are very well represented. We have this obsession with animation cels and other Disney artwork - it's a bad habit. :scared:

....and expensive as well I would imagine Barb

As Christmas and Channukah coincide this year does anyone fancy doing a Ballyhooers holiday card exchange ???

A reminder

You PM me your full name and postal address, as do all the other people who want to participate. I then compile a list with all that information and send it out to all the people on the list. You then send a christmas/channukah/holiday card to all the people on the list and you should get one back from all the people on the list.

It's a nice way to bring us all closer together and celebrate the holidays and it also great fun to see the cards coming through the door as they won't all be coming from the same country. :grouphug:  :grouphug:  :grouphug:  :grouphug:

I've been asked by a couple of Ballyhooers to give an exact cutoff date as they wish to order really, really extra special cards to send to us ;) ;) So if you wish to be sociable and holidaylicious please can you PM me your postal details by November 13th 2008 :grouphug:

Some Ballyhooers have told me what holiday they celebrate if I was going to list that information. I don’t think I’m going to for the following reasons.

1. We are all friends and the cards are being sent in the spirit of friendship

2. I am Jewish and I only buy and send Channukah cards to all my friends regardless of their religious belief. At the same time I don’t expect my non Jewish friends to send me anything other than the same Christmas cards they are sending to all their other friends as it’s the friendship and joy we are sharing which is important message here not what picture is on the front of the card.

We now have 14 holidaylicious people who wish to participate in this card exchange....for those of you who haven't yet PM'd me this is a reminder that you only have 1 more day to join in.
:santa: :santa: :santa:

gggrrrrr now I'm mad     One of the bracelets that Paul bought me many years ago has broken. I wouldn't be so mad except that it went to the jeweller in September to have a major overhall (cleanup, check solders etc) and now one of the solders has broken

Good morning !! (good afternoon Izzi!!) I was busy the whole week end. We bought a new 52" plasma tv for our new wall unit. The unit has a video lift, which means you push a button and the tv rises from the base. When you are not watching tv, it will go down and it the unit looks like a regular bookcase. Anyway, when we went to to attach the tv, we found out it was 2 inches too big.:scared1: :scared1: Needless to say the store manger (6th Ave Electronics) did not want to take the tv back, but we said the salesman had the specs and told us it would fit. So... we have to wait until today for the salesman to come in and hopefully tell the truth about having the specs before he sold it to us.
Then we had the contractor come to pull the wire inside the wall for the surround system wires. Of course there was big beam which he could not drill through- so now I have 5 holes in my wall ( all will be covered by the crown moulding thank goodness), no tv, no speakers, no stero, just lots of holes and a VERY UPSET HUSBAND !!:sad2: :sad2:

Oh no poor Jimmy and even more sympathies to you as I know how boys without toys can be

Don't let Jimmy tell Paul about having a 52" tv as I put my foot down about a bit TV so we've got a 42" one. I expect thought that your lounge room/tv room is much bigger than ours so you would be able to accomadate a bigger tv.

have to find time to fix my pictures... on my signature-it took me 6 months to find time to change them to begin with:sad2: :sad2: :sad2:

Arrrrgh, Sallie, that is just the kind of thing that drives me crazy! Why are these things always so much more complicated than they see when they start out?:sad2:

No, its not big at all- but we gat a great price on the tv- a brand new Sony, they delivered only 2 of them to the store while we were there- the sales people hadent even see it until we all opened the box- so, it probably would have been a bit too big for the room, but we fell in love with it- now we will have to get a 48" which we should have gotten to begin with

Lets all post pictures of our trees as we get them up- I start decorating the day after Thanksgiving . I used to to do it about 2 weeks before Christmas, but by the time I got everything up, it was time to take it all down. With all the shopping, cooking and stress I couldn't even enjoy it! So, now I do it early before all the nonsense starts, and I really do enjoy all the work I put into it! Every post holiday shots of family and decorations!!

I know Julie- we work so hard to purchase things like this, and then something like this happens- and we weren't to blame, although Jimmy said he should have gone through the specs not given them to the salesperson.

Well that's ok then......Jimmy's is only 6" bigger than Paul's :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
