Good luck with that -- I was just watching a comedy where the [non-English] driver drove through London. At least you won't be running into any double-decker buses!

Yes my wife just said my 15 year old DD is a terror while my 17 year old DS was easy

She is making puddle's in preperation for stuffing!

Sounds like she is making Thanksgiving!

The packing has begun!
We will have a long day of driving on Saturday before we board but are overnighting in Calais, before driving aboard a ferry for Dover. What an adventure - a boat trip for us, and for our car! ha ha. Luckily it is a very short drive between the ferry port and cruise parking to remember to drive on the left!

Hey ! We'll do the same ! We're from Belgium and we'll cross the pond sundaymorning by ferry from Dunkirk to Dover. It'll be the first time for our car too! What time do you arrive in Dover? Did you reserved a parking too? When you see another one driving on the wrong side of the road, it could be us !!!

We managed to get 1/4 of us packed last night!

I was looking up the weather for each port/day and it looks like we should have decent weather. It will feel freezing compared to the 100 plus degrees we've had here this week but as long as it doesn't snow, rain hard or hail we'll be fine! We've had enough of that this year ourselves.

Can anyone tell me what would be appropriate attire for watching The Lion King play in London? I don't want us to be over or under dressed. My boys have plenty of Polo shirts and khakis. DH has tons of them too--would he need a tie/button down? It's been 20 years since I've been to a play in London and I certainly don't recall what anyone had on.

I guess Polo shirts will do fine ... We did "Beauty and the Beast" some years ago, and most of the people were casually dressed.

Ditto here. Only I'm off for the summer and not working (correct that-this packing nonsense is work!) We tried to sqeeeeeeze into 2 bags and that is just not happening. So as much as I don't want to, we'll fork over the $50 for one second bag. We're probably going to need it coming home anyway.

Ditto here. Only I'm off for the summer and not working (correct that-this packing nonsense is work!) We tried to sqeeeeeeze into 2 bags and that is just not happening. So as much as I don't want to, we'll fork over the $50 for one second bag. We're probably going to need it coming home anyway.

I decided several days ago to pay for the 2nd bag. It was causing too much stress to try and fit everything into 1 bag.Then I figured if the bag was stuffed I'd have no room for souvenirs ! Thank goodness dh packs his own !

I'm planning on packing a duffle bag for use in coming home. Twice we've had to buy a bag, so this time I'm planning ahead!

Deanna (donioc) is listed in room 2212 and our room is 2112. In addition we should be included on the fish extender list on the main page. It was listed on the pm list that was sent but never made it to the first page. I will send you a PM as well but wanted to make sure everyone had the correct cabin information.
