My booking window for excursions is coming up this weekend and I was wondering what others are doing for excusions. We are doing everything through Disney. I like the saftey of not being left behind. What are you all doing?

Is it coming up already? When is the date for silver?
I can recommend the blue grotto in Malta. We did that on our last med cruise and had a great time. I'll be interested in what others have to say.

We have private tours booked in most of the ports. Our date to book anything through DCL is 3/31 (we are gold level), but the ports where we don't already have plans are places we may just enjoy without any concrete plans.

We're doing everything with DCL because with my mum's cancer, I may have to cancel and I can cancel DCL 3 days before whereas with a private tour, usually you have to pay a deposit, or someone might hold a spot for me and it is their livlihood and if I cancel last minute they are out of money

I can't remember everything we have decided, but I'll post when I get home and look at my list. For the ports that are duplicates to what we did last year, we are doing different ones, so I'm interested in those who have done excursions with DCL last year what was good and what wasn't!

Just got back from 2 days up on the North Shore, could have posted over on the picture of the day thread and people would have thought they were from Alaska cruise. Deer, Eagles, Moose, Bear, Wolves, ice floats and pine covered cliffs and snow covered hills, Sun was out today and all the snow that fell yesterday was cleared, perfect drive Now I'm ready for open water, sea breezes, and Palo's

Thank you all for the kind words about my mum. The trip seems so far away,that lots can happen, so I am just praying for the best. My dad is not feeling well lately either, so he's going for a check-up Tuesday. I'm hoping it is just stress.

I bought insurance through the tripinsurancestore. They are great However, I hadn't had any confirmation so I called today and they said that the insurance company hadn't processed it yet! Yikes! The PIF date is March 16. They assured me it would be okay because they had sent the information to them in time, but I really need that insurance for the piece of mind!

Who here is platinum and is planning on booking their excursions tomorrow?

Denise, it must have been me. I was paying final on my cruise. Give it 20-30 mins and it will open for you.

Speaking of finals, here are the options date for everyone based on your Castaway Club status. Options open right at midnight, EST.

Platinum: 3/16/14 Sunday (Tomorrow! yaaaay!)
Gold: 3/31/14 Monday
Silver: 4/15/14 Tuesday
Never cruised DCL: 4/30/14 Wednesday

I'm so happy to see that platinum cruisers are booking today. I'm still silver, so I've got a month to wait. I am a little nervous to book palo dinners ahead of time because I don't want to miss out on anything special happening in the main dining rooms. And I'm sure even if all of the pre reservations are sold out by the time by booking window opens, I'll be able to score a brunch or two when we board.

I have booked all my excursions, palo dinner on pirate night...don't like the menu, and a fire and ice manicure. My son and his girllfriend want to go to palo but don't want to miss the new menu at carioca's. Course we won't know when that is until we get onboard. Any suggestions?

Getting so excited to go but so worried about my so very sick mum.

Any ideas when formal night and any of the other specialty nights are? When might we find out.
