7/14/2014 - 12-Night Mediterranean Cruise (with Greece) Venice to Barcelona

We are booked! Myself, DH, and our 3 girls who will be 21, 18, and 13 when we sail. We were also on the Magic with Keenercam a few years ago! She did a great job planning our pre-cruise dinner!

So glad you are on this sailing!! And really glad you joined the Facebook Group for our cruise. I figure once I can start checking airfare in a month or so, this is going to start seeming very real to me. YAY!!!

My family and a friend's family will be on this cruise. So excited! Does anyone know how many formal nights we will have? I'm assuming 2? We cruised on the Magic over Christmas in 2011 and are excited to see the changes after dry dock. We also enjoyed a Southern Caribbean cruise on the Fantasy in Jan 2013. Loved the ship and all there was to do, but we're looking forward to less people and the quaint feeling on board the Magic.

Welcome Aboard :wave2:

On our 11 night MED Cruise in 2010 we had a formal and semi formal, on the 14 night EBPC we have 2 formal and 1 semi formal. Now on the EBPC we have several more Sea Days then we did on MED or we do on Venice to Barcelona not sure they can squeeze 3 in. :scratchin

Hi guys! Just booked this cruise while onboard the 15-27 June Med cruise. So exciting to see this thread so active already. I put in a request for the FB group as well. We are:

Meg, Greg, Cooper (8), Spencer (6)
Yes to fish extender
7608

So aside from the inaugural Greece trip which we just got off, we did the Med in May 2011 for 11 nights. We're thrilled at this new itinerary and looking forward to immersing the little men in Greek history and mythology. It's so much more fun at that age to focus on a single culture.

Hi, everyone! It is so much fun to see more and more people checking in here. I think I've responded to every request I've received to join the Facebook group. If you are still waiting, please let me know; the notifications have been sporadic.

Welcome aboard!!! I had friends who were on your cruise! They are doing back to back and are on the 2nd one right now...We did the MED back in '07 and it was so much fun...can't wait till next year!!

Greetings, Greek Island Adventurers! My family and I just reserved this trip while on the June 15th Med sailing (the one with Greece!). It will be for our 20th Anniversary and we are really hoping the dates work for our family (have teenagers involved in sports that complicate things...). Sailing will be me, DH, DS (16 at sail time) and DD (14 at sail time). Loved Athens and Mykonos on our June 15th cruise and can't wait to see more of the islands. We had a really active and friendly DISBoards and Facebook Group for the cruise, so I'm happy to have found you all. Looking forward to getting to know this group and start planning our adventure!

Hi again, Just found the Facebook group and sent in my request to join. I think I see at least one familiar face from the June 15th sailing!

We were also on the first cruise to Greece and loved the islands we saw. Today we booked this one to see some more. It will be me and DH Scott, I am surprised that I beat him here. Will look for FB thread.

in Athens we had a private tour, which was great, got lots of information, saw some places we might not have gotten to on our own, like the Metro station that was an excavation museum. On Mykonos we took the first public ferry to Delos, had a good time wandering around there, saw several Disney tours, then had a great time wandering around Mykonos, there is a great gelato shop right on the waterfront. Mykonos port area is a beautiful town. On Malta we did our own walking tour of Valletta, highlights were the Lascaris War Room and the gardens. Next time we may go farther afield on those 2 islands. There seem to be several of us here who were on that cruise, I am sure all will share experiences.

No one has said it yet so I will

ONE YEAR TILL WE BOARD
