7/13/14 Dream Cruise

Julie-

Just noticed your signature....when did you cruise the Baltic and Med? Wonder if we were on the same cruise. My dates are in my signature

Ok I set up a link to sign up for the FE

I will put it in the first post as well. Once we get closer to the cruise I'll email the list out to everyone. :cheer2:

We did the med at the end of May 26-June 6 2007 and the Baltic on June 24-July 6 2010. We got lucky with our Baltic sailing. They said it rained a bit the cruise before us, enough so the gave us all free rain coats, but we only had a little rain. It was a great sailing. The med sailing we were on was either the very firs of the second, don't remember exactly so there were quite a few links that needed to be worked out. :) but it was all great fun.

Hi! New to forum.

We are booking for this date :) With our group we will have 3 rooms, 2 on deck 10. Im not sure where the third one is. We will have 7 kids with us! This is the 2nd Disney cruise for many of us. Would love to join a FE group!

Small world!! We were on that Med cruise-first learned about the Disboards during that cruise. We got on the ship when you got off for the Baltic-we were there for the heat wave! We got the free ponchos for Oslo-that was the only time it rained. I was constantly doing laundry since we didn't pack the right clothing. We had the warm weather clothes for our few days in London and then layers for the rest of the cruise! It was a great cruise though. The Med was the first sailing.

Welcome! After you fill out the FE link it compiles it into a spreadsheet which I will email everyone after the cut off date (currently June 1).

I just filled out the FE form- not sure how it works as this is our first cruise!

Welcome Disney Woods!

I will try to explain what signing up for Fish extenders is...

outside each cabin door is a fish type hook.(see in the picture below) Everyone participating hangs something that has some type of pockets in it so that the other families involved can give you gifts. This is my fish hanger what you decide to use can be as simple or as elaborate as you want.

The gifts that you give/get can be what ever you choose to give. In the past I have gotten gifts of all types of value. If you look up fish extender gifts in the forum section of these DIS boards you can get all different ideas. Some people buy what they give and some make their gifts. Once the list is compiled you will get a copy of it and while you are on the cruise you will go around giving the gifts to everyone that is participating. You can give something every day or just once on the cruise. You can just do a family gift or you can do individual gifts. If you have any other questions please ask and I will try to help.

Hi everyone! Just found this thread! My DH and I will be on this cruise with our DD (6) and DS (2), along with my parents and aunt! I am soooo excited :cheer2:

I am sure you all know this already but 100 DAYS TILL WE BOARD :cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1:

We are so excited, we are all signed up for the FE group. Thanks for putting it all together.

Hello,

This is our first disney cruise it is myself, my mom, and my 3 kiddos. I have a 7yr old daughter and identical twin boys that are 5. I was wondering if anyone had any tips or tricks we should know about. I already ordered our FE and have been thinking of exchange ideas. Do most ppl use magnet paper or just card stock and laminate and attach a magnet for the door decorations? Thanks so much for the help, I am a major planner.

Welcome everyone! I am so excited we have some more dis-ers joining us!

I have printed on magnet paper in the past and it works well and us super easy

We are traveling on the DREAM - July 13th and would love to participate in a FE. I have already submitted the form for me and our friends on the ship as well ( another family of 4).

We will also be on this cruise - it will be myself, DH, DD (7), DS (9) and my in-laws! My DH and I went on a Disney cruise for our honeymoon but haven't been back since and this will be the 1st cruise for the rest of them. We are very excited!! We have two rooms on deck 9.

So excited for all the new folks joining us! So far the FE list has about 8 cabins. Totally doable.

We are paid in full and started looking at excursions in Nassau. I am definitely getting off the ship for a rum run but may do one of the short excursions as well.
