7/13/14 Dream Cruise

Hello! Just researching the FE and thinking of joining in if its still open for this cruise. I will be traveling with my husband and our 2 kiddos. Our son is 12 and our daughter will have just turned 11 when we cruise. pixiedust: Our in-laws are also going and have a daughter who is 15 and a 12 year old son. This looks like fun for all ages. do you think they would enjoy it?

We have been to Disney many times but this is our first cruise and we can't wait!!!:goofy::donald:

You are welcome to join the FE exchange. The link to sign up is in the first post. My whole family loves it. It's so fun to come back to your room and find special treats waiting for you!

Question for y'all... At dinner, do you prefer a table with JUST your family, or do you like a table shared with others?

On our first cruise we were sat at a table with an older couple who seemed a bit uncomfortable sharing with our kids (they are well behaved, but they are kids). Since then we have always been assigned a table of just our party (just by chance). I think this cruise I may request a bigger table. We would love to share a table with another family of similar size/kids ages, but I worry we may get put with a "couple" again. Anyone have any good/bad experiences to share?

Do a search on the Disney Cruise forum "craziest table mates" - huge thread.. scary, funny & informative

The last few cruises it has just been our group because we were pretty large. August 2012 I took a double dip with just my oldest son and we had 4 other tablemates. I think DCL did hook us up based on our kids ages...there were 2 other families-just moms as well each with one child same age as my son-one female one male. I didn't think that could just be coincidence

I signed up for the FE group for this cruise (July 13) and haven’t heard from anyone. This is my first time doing FE and thought my son and I would love it. Please let me know when someone contacts you with how many are in the group and other info I may need as a first timer :) Thanks

Our cut off date is June 1st. After that I will email everyone out a copy of the list to everyone who signed up. Right now we have 9 cabins participating!

That sounds perfect. I filled out the form and sent it to you a little while ago so hopefully we are on the list :) Thanks

Is it possible to get an early prelim list I need to start working on gifts. If I can decide what to make ... Too many to choose from but the FE demographics will help me decide ... Ie more girls than boys more older kids than younger etc etc

My kids are 10 and 15 (both girls) and they love the FE. I was thinking of sitting this one out but the kids love it too much. So I'm off to start planning gifts. :)

Sure. I'll send a PDF to your email address you listed on the FE sign up. Just give me a big to get to my actual computer. Can't do it on my mobile :)

75 days until the cruise!

Anyone doing anything fun pre/post cruise? We're staying at WDW for three nights before the cruise. Splitting it up between BLT and Wilderness lodge.

Good Morning everyone! Since we have finally passed the 75 day mark and we are PIF and checked in I can finally believe we are going on our first cruise!!

We are taking the month of July and making it vacation month. We are spending 10 days in Tennessee at the beginning of July and then making our way down to Florida in time for the cruise (this part is a complete surprise for our 8 year old daughter. We have told her it is too expensive to ever do a Disney cruise!! Can't wait for her reaction!). After the cruise we will be heading to WDW for 10 days. We will be splitting time between Beach Club and Wilderness Lodge. The waiting has been the hardest part. Have planned our everything since September and can't believe we are finally under 2 months from starting our journey!

Just a reminder; if you want to join the FE list be sure to sign up before June 1st! Link is in the first post.
