6X8 picture frames

As you know many of the pics taken on the ship were 6X8.
We have found this size frame at Michales crafts store and replaced all of our frames with these frames. Turns out that the Disney frames are great but took up alot of space.
This was our ONLY regret on the ship--buying these frames

How big are the frames that you purchased? Also, I am assuming they are in the Disney theme--correct?

I've also seen 6x8 frames at Walmart.

I was wondering if anyone else had this problem. I purchased a 6x8 frame on the ship and when i got home and put one of the pictures in it there was extra space on the sides, the white trim on the picture shows. I wasn't too happy about this considering how much I payed for the frame not to mention the picture. Anyone else expierence this?

Our solution to the 6x8 delima is to crop the pictures down to 5x7 if it doesn't "ruin" the picture. Otherwise we get a framer to make mattes for us and we put the pictures in larger frames.
