They are definitely the same as Zappos. We live close to a Zappos distribution center and there's a 6PM outlet in the front part of the warehouse. They are usually the returns. They actually had problems where people would order shoes from Zappos, return them, and a few days later run to the 6PM outlet and pick them up super cheap.

Thanks for all the responses...mine were Betula by Birkenstock but hers were Birkenstock. We are going to call them tomorrow.
