6502 and pin trading

hi new to dis board booked on feb 24 wonder in room 6502 has anyone stayed in that room?also have 13 year old interested in trading pins do they still do that??thanks for the help..have cruised before but never on dcl

Sorry Never stayed in THAT room but have stayed in other rooms on Deck 6. Your room is at the way front of the boat on the end. It may be a little rockier but shouldn't be bad. It really depends on the sea and weather. For New Years we were on deck 7 and stayed at the way back and it was a little noisy with the engines..

YES, there is a special pin cart that comes out at night and there is a special night that a bunch of crew members come out with landyards on and lots of pins available. There is also a pin book full of traders that comes out everytime the cart does and everyone is free to look through it and swap pins with it. There is also a shop with pins in it and sometimes the crew wear landyards there too. Just watch in your Navagator for times. You get a daily newspaper type agenda that tells you what's going on with the ship..

Actually, it has been reported just in the past week or so that they have suspended pin trading with the crew members for the flu season. Hopefully they will start up again in the spring.

We have cruised one deck above your room in 7010 & 7503. We rebooked for 7504 for our next cruise. We don't feel a great deal of motion there compared to the other areas of the ship. I actually felt more motion & had more difficulty walking during lunch at Parrot Cay.

Pin Trading has stopped for a while....we really missed it last week.
