Figured I'd share my experience since this was my first time booking, and I was very curious leading up to it how it'd work out. So here's the rundown:
• Saw there were major issues with the site and app yesterday. Thankfully, everything was working this morning. That would have been extremely frustrating, and I feel bad for those who dealt with it yesterday.
• It opened up for me at 7 am est on the dot, not a minute earlier (I tried). We have a package with room/tickets and even though fastpass showed no tickets attached beforehand, it all showed up as expected ato 7. No need to do anything special here.
• I used the app and the site on my desktop simultaneously. I'd expected the app to be easier and faster, but the site actually seemed better. There was an issue with the calendar in the app where it showed my dates in the current month instead of august. Looking for additional time options was easier in the app though (scrolling through times vs. refreshing and seeing what shows up).
• I booked 5 days of FP and was able to get within 5-10 minutes of my planned times for almost everything. The one notable exception was Frozen Ever After, which had nothing open before 12:45 pm.
• I spent maybe 30 minutes total, with some fine tuning and reviewing. This was booking for 3 of us, including some split reservations.
Overall, pretty easy and successful!
