Why would Disney extend this to those hotels. They are viewed by most people I've ever encountered to be not only, not part of Disney but almost as a second rate option. Not saying this is accurate but that's what I've always gotten the sense of, or been flat told as such. Disney doesn't really have their hands in the profits of these places, etc. So by making them more appealing from the aspect of lower rate and getting a benefit only those who would be on property had, doesn't this actually devalue the Disney properties in a variety of ways, including why cost of stay. I know that people who are looking to save money on these trips will gladly hop away from Disney property to these places, thus impacting the value of Disney property, supply/demand, etc.
