Cheddars soooo good! You need to go to their website and sign up for their emails. They will sometimes send out coupons.

The plans are looking good! I know that you're more than ready to get out of that cold weather and into the sunshine.

Great plans Kathy. You know I'm a big fan of Daytona and will be heading back there in June to a quick visit!

Plans look great Kathy!

It is finally getting a little warmer here. Should be in the 50's this weekend.:thumbsup2

I hope Cookie is ok. My cat is getting up there & I get nervous every year when I bring her to the vet. She is about 14. She is my baby girl (the only girl I have) and cannot even think about not having her. Other than a thyroid problem she seems to be doing fine. I am praying that Cookie will be ok.

It's such a good deal too. You get the pot pie, salad, and the croissant for like $7 or so.

Wow...that is cheap. :thumbsup2

The snow is melting and we should be in the 60's this weekend. 37 days until Florida!

Our snow has been gone for about a week; it finally warmed up enough that Andy's team has a baseball game today.

Thanks for the heads up, Lisa. I went ahead and signed up. I noticed we have one in Illinois too...but it is about a 45 minute drive away from us.

You know, we really can't complain because it wasn't that snowy of a winter; the problem is it all came in February and March when we were anxious for spring; and it's been so cold. But warmth is coming, but I can't wait for the sun and heat in Florida.

Great plans Kathy. You know I'm a big fan of Daytona and will be heading back there in June to a quick visit!

Thanks, MaryEllen. Although we now prefer the Gulf Coast, Mark has very fond memories of the Atlantic side and it will do him some good to have some reflection about past visits as a kid.

Plans look great Kathy!

Thanks, Doreen.

We are supposed to be right around 56 ourselves this weekend. :worship:

We take her at 8 a.m. on Saturday; she's been a little bit better this week, but she's not the same. Thank you for the conern. I hope your cat stays healthy for a long time.

I too love the chicken pot pie at Cheddars. It's the only thing I order there! Did you know there's one in Bolingbrook? It's pretty close to the promenade.

Your plans sound great! I think you'll find lots of things you might need from the festival. :thumbsup2 My MiL went nuts on the merch last year! Remember there's a lot more stuff in the festival center if you don't see want you want at the kiosks.

Love your WDW plans! Boma for breakfast is awesome, dinner - not so much. :rotfl2:
Now I need to check out that Cheddars place that everyone is raving about. :lmao:

Still keeping my fingers crossed and sending lots of pixie dust for Cookie!

I will have AT LEAST one of these
Naturally. :thumbsup2

And Mark will have ONLY one of these
:sad2 Not fair at all.

It's about an hour and a half ride, and Mark wants to get there in enough time to check into our room, and go take a walk on the beach (his Mom and Dad used to go here twice a year and his mom's birthday was this past Sunday and I know it has been weighing on his mind...so we'll give him his beach time).
Well, if you're only going to let him have one beer at EPCOT, you'd better be doing what he wants. :rolleyes1

Never had breakfast at Boma-only dinner. That juice reminds me of the juice at 'Ohana and Tusker House. Is it the same? If so, YUM! :)

Somewhere along the line, I missed the update that you're staying at the Dolphin? For some reason, I had that you were staying at Pop for the one night.

I am soooo sorry that I've been absent and missed the end of the bday trip. It looks like overall y'all had a lovely trip with family and friends. :goodvibes

And it looks like your April plans are coming right along. Gosh - that will be here so soon! Your breakfast pics of Boma make me want to try that place. Looks so yummy!!

Yes, I made a change in resorts. I knew you'd be proud of me. :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: It just made so much more sense for one day.
:rotfl2: It does make SO much sense!!

Single digit dancing for you:yay::banana::yay:

I changed too...from WDW to US :confused3 No F&G but express passes ::yes:: which make sense for DH and I since it'll be one park day..and the spring break crowds next week....:scared1: Plus DH can't complain about August at WDW :lovestruc

I somehow missed all your PTR updates, as well as your change of resort. What prompted you to switch?

Great update and plans!!

I can't wait to hear your thoughts on The Dolphin, never stayed there but we have considered it many times.

LOVE YSH!! The food is amazing.

Love Boma but have only been there for dinner. I have heard great things about their breakfast and that yummy juice. On my list.

You are going to enjoy flower and garden at Epcot so much.

Cheddars is a great restaurant, we ate there several times when we lived in Denver and always ordered something different and it was all so good.

Very sweet that Mark gets beach time, that will be special indeed. <3

Glad to hear Cookie had a good weekend! :)

Thank goodness the weather is warming up here and I'm so happy this week is coming to a close, is it me or has this been one heck of a week?!!

I must have missed an update, Kathy, because now you'll be at the Dolphin! We stayed there 4 or 5 times when it was brand new (had a special rate TA for $42.50 a ngt, balcony and EPCOT view!). Everyone was so nice....as nice as Disney CMs. The rooms and even halls were Beach theme and it was very well done. Of course that has probably changed over the years. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts now as I have considered it a few times - that resort fee always stops me from booking though. It will be great walking over to International Gateway...or the boat, of course. Enjoy!

Obama breakfast.....yum!!!!! Perfect!!

Cookie has been in my thoughts often and I hope she is just slowing down, nothing serious. Will be sending good thoughts and prayer tomorrow. :goodvibes

So glad Mark will get some beach time.

Disney planning is fun, even when it is not your own. ::yes:: I enjoy seeing the plans of others and thinking about them, when I remember, on a certain day doing something fun while I am at home or school.

We've had Boma dinner, but not breakfast. I think I'm one of the few who does not care for the juice at places like Tusker House and Poly, but I pretty much drink water, water, and more water, so most drinks seem super sweet to me.

Enjoy your sweet Disney dreams until it's time to take off! :woohoo:

I will back with replies later...I have a house to clean and then Alisha and Mark will be here and we're going shopping. But I wanted to give you all an update on Cookie. This is what I posted on FB for those of you who are not friends with me on FB:

Thank you everyone. Cookie came home with us. :goodvibes

She has a double ear infection and an inner body infection which can be taken care of with the antibiotic. She is definitely totally blind in one eye and has maybe 10% ability in her other eye; she has arthritis. The vet, Dr. John--her favorite, said he felt that if the pain got too bad with her arthritis, we could give her medication if we chose. He thinks she still has some time left with us and we should follow up in six months or sooner if we have concerns. He also found us a possible pet sitter in June for when we go to the wedding. He strongly suggested not putting her in a kennel as that would probably be the end of her as she's never been in one before. Thanks for all the prayers and hugs...I was having a very difficult morning.

Now I'm caught up over here!

YAY you will be in WDW in a week! So you changed resorts to the Dolphin - very nice! I wish I was back there for F&G but I will rely on you providing some photographic evidence of all the beautiful flowers and topiaries and all of the fun. :)

Boma breakfast is always a great choice! ;)

That photo of Mark on the beach covering this man nips - so funny! :lmao:

I'm not all caught up yet, but I wanted to say Hi :wave2: I'm glad that Cookie got to come home with you.

Happy Easter to you and your family as well!!

Good news on Cookie! So glad the antibiotics are working and Cookie still has good life left.
