Now I'm caught up over here!

YAY you will be in WDW in a week! So you changed resorts to the Dolphin - very nice! I wish I was back there for F&G but I will rely on you providing some photographic evidence of all the beautiful flowers and topiaries and all of the fun. :)

Boma breakfast is always a great choice! ;)

That photo of Mark on the beach covering this man nips - so funny! :lmao:

Thanks, Brenda. I promise lots and lots of photos. Love Boma. Mark is a goof is all I can say.

I'm not all caught up yet, but I wanted to say Hi :wave2: I'm glad that Cookie got to come home with you.

Happy Easter to you and your family as well!!

Thank you; I hope you had a good Easter too. I'm glad you are back...I've missed you.

Good news on Cookie! So glad the antibiotics are working and Cookie still has good life left.

Jill in CO

Thanks, Jill. As we know, the news changed drastically yesterday.

What wonderful news!!!

Thanks, Cynthia. See what happens when I get behind...I'm thanking everyone for the good news, and now it is bad news. :sad2:

Kathy, wishing you and your family a very happy Easter!

Thanks, Karin. I hope you and Tom had a good one.

Happy Easter Kathy !!!!! Hope you and your family have a great day.

Thanks, Pat. I hope you had a good one. Did you spend it with family or friends?

I missed that you were doing a bit of a PTR here! Sounds like a fun Disney day! Flower and Garden should be fun :goodvibes

I am so glad to hear about Cookie. I know how precious our furbabies are to us..

Thanks, Ann. I can't wait for F&G.

Kathy, I am home sick today from work and what way to feel better than read your trip report??

What an awesome trip you guys had, I love all your trip reports but this one might be my favorite! Loved all the pictures and the video of Nicki surprising Mark at the CSR check in was just priceless.

I am very happy you switched your upcoming reservation, I think you won't be sorry! We have stayed at Pop four times but that was a long time ago, when the kids were younger they loved the values but now at this stage, every time I make a reservation, I end up going to a mod instead!

Have a great time this weekend, Flower and Garden is awesome, you guys will have a great time!

Amy, I'm sorry you were sick...holpe you are better now.

Wasn't that a great video with Nicki.

I'm just not a value gal...I just couldn't do it.

Happy to hear the good news about Cookie! :goodvibes

Thanks; we're hoping for the best for a while longer.

Wanted to wish you a safe and fun trip (and also productive from Mark's view)! :thumbsup2 My DIS time will probably be a little limited over the next few days. Drew is on spring break this week so the soccer coach signed them up for an out of town tournament, so will be heading out around lunchtime to get there. Won't be back home until late Saturday sometime and I know you will already be gone by then.

All of your plans look good, and a lot on the agenda! I hope you have great weather to enjoy while you are there. :goodvibes Of course we have heavy rains predicted for the first day of the tournament, so I expect it to be wet and cold when they play their first soccer game this evening....... :scared:

Thanks, Marv. I can't wait to get to a warmer climate; the weather here has been awful. I hope it doesn't rain too much during the tournament.

Kathy - I hope you have an awesome trip! I know that I am almost as excited as you are to get out of town this weekend. HHI is supposed to be 75 and sunny. :cool1:

Have a great time!!!!!!!!!!!!

I also wanted to add that I am glad Cookie is OK and was able to come back home with you!

Have a great time at HHI, MEK.

Have a great time Kathy!!!

Thanks, Rosie.

Safe travels for you and Mark. I hope you have great weather and an even better time. :goodvibes

Thanks, Pat. The weather is predicted from low 80s to high 80s. :woohoo::woohoo:

Kathy I am so sorry!! But you at least have some precious time left to LOVE her:cloud9:

Thank you, Rosie.

Oh, Kathy....

I am so sorry the tumor has returned. My heart aches for you and Mark...I pray it is very slow growing and precious Cookie will be comfortable for a long time. Please give one another a hug and kisses to sweet Cookie from me. xoxo

Thank you, Christine.

Oh Kathy,

Thoughts and prayers for comfort during this time.

Nice Picture of the two of you. :goodvibes

Thanks, Pat for the hugs.

So awesome to read of your fabulous trip! Loved every detail!

:thumbsup2:jumping1:

Thank you; I'm so glad you enjoyed it. It was the best trip ever with my wonderful family (part of them anyway) and our bestest friends.

Good thoughts and prayers for your precious baby. I know she will be so very loved all the way through this.

Hope you have a fabulous mini-trip!

Thank you so very much.

So sorry to hear that Cookie's lump is back. So sad. I know that you will spoil her and treat her the very best she could ever be treated.

Have a great time in Florida. So sorry this is looming over your trip. It seems it's always something before you go. I wish that trend would end. You definately could use some Disney magic.

It does seem something always happens before a trip. But I leave knowing she is in good hands with Andy.

Kathy, it breaks my heart to hear about Cookie. With the time you have left, treasure those times and take as many pictures as you can. Today may be tough for you, but you still have some wonderful days left with Cookie.

I am not a big cat fan, but I remember when I was 12 years old my parents bought me a cat (they said no to a dog). I named him Tigger, and to this day I have not loved an animal more. That cat left home with me when I went on my own; was still living when I got married at 22; became my wife's cat for the next 10 years; and after 21 years of life (yes that long) he was diagnosed with kidney failure and didn't have much time left. Those last few months I will never forget them. During those last days Tigger seemed to be telling me that he was always my cat and would cling to me every moment I was at home. I'm convinced he knew the end was near and it was his way of telling me he loved me. I remember the day we finally took him to the vet; the only time I cried that much was when my brother died almost two years ago. I loved that cat and to this day I know it may sound morbid, but I have his ashes stored in a urn.

Kathy, my thoughts are with you and Mark.

Bob, thank you so very much. You have no idea what this meant to me.

I am so sorry to hear about your puppy :(

We did the same thing with our old Dog Randy. One day I heard him crying as he was walking and that was when I decided to tell everyone it was time. Enjoy your time with her. We found that even when Randy was having a bad day he LOVED boiled hamburger and rice. I bet Cookie would love that with her sore teeth.

Thank you. And thank you for the advice on the hamburger and rice. I will definitely keep that in mind.

Tomorrow!!!! I am doing the happy dance for you

Yes, it's tomorrow. HOORAY...I can't wait. Thank you, Cynthia.

I can't believe how time got away from me with going to see the kids in Dubuque, having them here for Easter and taking Cookie to the vet and getting the devastating news that her cancer returned.

We leave in a little over 16 hours. Here are the rest of the plans, in a very minimized form:

Tuesday, April 9, we meet with a customer in Daytona and then drive to Coral Springs. We are having dinner at Big Bear Brewing where we have eaten before and Mark loves it.

Wednesday, April 10, we will be up early to drive from Coral Springs to Marathon to meet with a customer. We are then having a late lunch/early dinner with one of the retired attorneys from my office wo lives in Marathon. We then drive back to Coral Springs.

Thursday, April 11, we meet with two guys that own a shop in Tamarac. I love these guys and they love me (they told me to leave Mark at home the next time for business!). They always bring me Krispy Kreme donuts. After we are done with them, we drive to Naples where we will see my little sis and her wonderful husband! :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

We are having dinner this night at Tommy Bahamas.

Friday, April 12, Mark has two appointments in Ft. Myers which shouldn't take long at all and then it will be pool all afternoon until we meet Todd and Nicki at a pub for dinner.

Saturday, April 13 is Mark's pool day (please weather cooperate for the man) and my shopping day with Nicki! We are then doing our usual last night dinner -- Da Ru Ma and then coffee at Starbucks to say goodbye until our August trip.

Sunday, April 14, we will have breakfast at The Waffle House before driving to Ft. Myers for our noon flight back home.

I'm sorry I didn't go into more detail on those last days, but I wanted to get this done because I have to finish the laundry, pick up my medication, vacuum the house and PACK tonight. And I want to spend some time snuggling on the couch with Cookie before we leave tomorrow.

I'll be posting at least a picture or two a day on my Facebook page. If you aren't my friend on FB, send me a message here and I'll send you my FB info.

Thank you all for the love and hugs and prayers for Cookie. DIS friends are the best friends.

Kathy we will be in Orlando April 10th thru 13th, Universal 10th-12th and Seaworld on the 13th!!. A short trip but Judy had to see Universal after my September visit , I have a feeling it will be Vegas for her next year as I am going this year:rotfl2:

 for Cookie, so sorry

I missed your send off...dang cold, hope you and Mark can have a great trip!

We arrived...and early!:goodvibes

I an SO sorry for Cookie  she is in my prayers

I am so sorry about Cookie!

I hope you are having a fabulous time on the trip though :wizard:

Hit Downtown Disney and bought a few things, had an awesome dinner at Yachtsman Steakhouse, went to the Boardwalk. Tomorrow is breakfast at Boma and then Epcot for Flower & Garden (Mark also said if he isn't too tired we might hit the MK for an hour or two as well).

This is the view we have from our room at the Dolphin...where we got an upgrade from a traditional room to a view of the lake. :)
